Vegas Meeting

The gym requires a room key for entry.
You don't have a room yet, which means you don't have a key.
What a bizarre thing to lie about.
What a dummy! You just request a card key for the gym at the front desk. This is my SOP should my room is not ready. Do you rarely travel? Do you want a tip on flight upgrades as you sit at the Vegas airport?

Hey Vas: Thanks for the great meeting in Vegas. The general and breakout sessions were of value to the sales team. The Venetian is a truly "cool" place to stay and kudos to their culinary staff for tasty and timely meals. It is easy to criticize but one should also recognize great performance - - - i.e., our NSM staff. Wishing everyone a healthy and prosperous 2025!!

Are we going to talk about how many people came home very sick or are we going to brush that under the rug?????

This was the worst meeting I ever attended. I got nothing out of this meeting except diarrhea and acid reflux. No more of these big meetings. Go back to divisional meetings only. Novartis has to be the worst company in pharma.

Hard to focus on anything at the meeting other than people talking about the downsize in two weeks. I applaud the ABLs and corporate who had the courage to tell others.

OMG! You are staying at a luxury resort hotel! Poor little baby.
Obviously, you don’t have a clue as to what goes on at these meetings. You think it’s a vacation for us??? Ridiculous!! Try being a rep for a week at these meetings, then post your thoughts. Until then, none of us are interested in your uninformed opinions.

yeah threaten them, that's real smart...you will be replaced in a hot second if I was your boss.. Your getting way overpaid and doing nothing all week.
Maybe that’s how some people work, but I work hard and my numbers prove it. I get plenty of face to face interactions with my HCP’s. Maybe you weren’t so skilled when you were a rep.

You are not my boss but a low performing loser. I bet your wife and boyfriend are having a great time with you in Vegas.

Hell very disappointed in the female talent pool at NSM this year. Company seems to be onboarding lots of old chicks past their prime now. Damn company can’t even get that right now.
Ok, dude from MadMen, you’re disgusting.

I have to say - although I came home really sick, the meeting itself was painless. Thankful for the minimal amount of role playing and the workshops that were somewhat interesting. Enjoyed hearing from patients and Vas as I don’t ever think I’ve seen him at a meeting before. I avoided the usual buffet shits by staying away from the fish and mystery meat and eating mostly soup and salad. The Venetian rooms are amazing and if we have to go for that May days as least we have some room. Meeting could have been done in two to two and a half days, it was a bit dragged out. And we should have been able to leave Thursday night. Many people showed up to the evening event for an hour and then left including a lot of executives who I heard were hanging out in various bars around the hotel

WTF…. Vas is that you posting this crap on here? This is another lame spin tactic that may work in a controlled company environment but but the reality of the NSM it was a clown show for 4,000 reps locked in a hotel like a bunch of sequestered jurors.

I agree wasn’t bad. Rooms nice. Elevator wait times were fantastic compared to previous meetings. Also appreciated lack of role play and some of the future of health care sessions. Why having to stay Thursday night and having only hour and 1/2 on Friday am is a waste. Must be a contracting/tax write off issue. If going to stick to 4 night meeting, wish they would consider a true free night. Monday- welcome like normal. Tuesday - team dinners. Wednesday- free night. Thursday - awards dinner. Friday- let people get up and fly home.
