Urology Sales position







Todd- you are the last hope for this company. You have less than a year before there will be a mass exodus.
Olympus has great urology reps, working 50+hrs a week, 2million+ territories, with no associate rep or stone rep and We are tired - doing a lot more dirk for less pay. While ENT and Energy have associates reps, work less and sell less about 500,000.
We like the job but hate how the company treats us. We have heard for years "if you are not sales, you are sales support" which is total BS.
WHY DONT YOU ASK REPS WHAT THE ISSUES ARE? Why not have an advisor board of reps? You can't continue asking the VP or AVPs because they don't know. At the least, send out a survey monkey with questions. Look at areas/territories with low volume or declining volume, you will find new reps. It takes 2+ years to learn urology and we are allowing good people to leave. Time to clean house- Olympus management is arrogant and only care about their pension.

CP does not record IP addresses jack hole. Look in the bylaws on the web page. They have no information for lawyers or judges to obtain. This website exposes all of the management trash for what they are, which is absolute corporate garbage.

Whatever you are thinking out there, do not interview or apply to an open territory with Olympus. Especially ENT/Urology/Energy/Video, you will be very upset if you take the offer and find out what its really like to work here. Ive personally seen this organization cause problems with employees marriages. This place causes depression & anxiety.....
Its filled with selfish, soul less, dirty people who will stab a knife in your back.

I do not think they need to name names. All you need to do is look at the job postings in the last 30 days. I have not seen this many sales positions open at Olympus, even post-riff in GI back in 2011. It is very clear people are fed up with current management and finance (who seem to be the dirty culprit in the commissions slashing). If management wants to bolster profits through operating cuts (AKA sales comp reduction), they will achieve the exact opposite. You need good people who can drive sales through product knowledge and relationship building. Good people do not stay at places they feel are screwing them out of less-than-market pay.

You're right, 40 out of 1000 positions is not much as an overall %. But 40 jobs open in a 30-day period IS a lot. What happens when the number is 60, 80, 100, 150??! Will you then admit there is a reason why reps are leaving beyond its "their fault"??!! Recruiters know there is an issue. They are bringing it up to us on a weekly basis! Top talent leaves first, which this is the first wave. More to follow. These are the people you can't afford to leave, unless you are more concerned about a P & L, which will ultimately be worse b/c the relationships / sales suffer. I question your ability to be in whatever position you're in. You are obviously an incompetent person missing the big point here. People are just asking for a fair, market-based pay structure and inspiring leadership, not the current situation.

Down from $42 about 2 months ago. There is no doubt stock will reach $29 by end of the calendar year.
This place is terrible. The insurance is terrible, the pay is terrible, the management is pathetic. Arrogant Kool Aid jackals, that only care about serving their prospective AVP, and their salary, and nothing else.

The people that are in management are the lowest life forms. Fucking suits that look at charts all day and load up their schedules with "conference calls". You people are fucking retarded. This is a sales job, not Astro Physics.
