Obesity Spec has about 370 reps, so they won’t cut the entire sales force. They may cut it in half, and the remaining reps will have much larger territories.
If you’re in a major metro area with 3 reps covering one city, only one rep will probably remain; maybe two if they decide to cut another rep in a neighboring territory.
Every division is going to sustain cuts; even you, PC 1/2, for you’re the most bloated of all the salesforces.
How many PC one and PC two reps are there nationally?

Are they only keeping one PC 1 OR 2 (pending whatever criteria) in territory with a larger territory for obesity specs to overlap? Sounds like it. Where does DBU spec fall?

PC2 here, I have approx 7 large cities in my territory. I couldn’t do it without my PC1 and see all of our primary care offices efficiently. It’s a lot. I love my overlap but it doesn’t make sense with the products they have and I have. That is too much.
 








I don’t know exactly, but I overlap with 4 of them in my territory alone.
They are not specialty though like it sounds like you are. There are so many primary care/family medicine/internal med offices. It would be more efficient if obesity spec just stopped interactions on PCPs and focus on bariatric centers, new indications. Why are they when PC 1/2 have Zep too? It never made any sense

When was jardiance removed from pc3? And jardiance sales have only increased since pc3 took it over? Outperforming Trulicity…

This is pretty much the dumbest, most ignorant statement I have ever read.

Blaming PC3 for the failure of Emgality is ridiculous, absurd nonsense & proves you have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about -you’re literally just making shit up. The entire CGRP marketplace place failed -Do you ever see any Aimovig, or Anjovy reps anymore? (That’s a rhetorical question). The real failure was Lilly’s decision to conduct a head to head against Nurtec -which ultimately sealed Emgality’s fate.

As far as PC3 “failing” with Jardiance..I mean, are you serious? We had tremendous success with Jardiance; most districts were over 100% to goal, and Shannon even said we had record growth with Jardiance -in fact, our success with Jardiance is a big reason we were given Zepbound.

And then there is Zepbound. Really too early to tell, but considering the inherent managed care challenges, manufacturing & supply issues, and completely incompetent & abysmal leadership, we are still far exceeding goals & expectations.

Seriously though, are you just being incredibly glib, or are you the braindead zombie troglodyte you appear to be?
 




I want to know where the respect for people cones in ? Lilly saying it’s committed to people then in the middle a launch tying our hands behind our backs? blaming it on us ? And a ton of new indications coming and laying people off? But they waste a ton of money on plane tickets, rooms etc for big meetings instead of just having smaller local meetings or ?? Virtual? Why not prioritize correctly ? Tools for sales people not fruit boxes and plane tickets?

The anxiety that re-orgs cause are so detrimental to people’s mental and physical health. Imagine every year you must worry if you have a job again ?? That is really a horrible thing to do to people… oh wait I mean a number ?
 




Technically there may not be any more layoffs. Shannon said she will provide more clarity the fist week of November. She didn't mention anything else other than providing clarity

In all fairness, it should be outperforming Trulicity. Lilly is hardly making it lol. Especially with MJ on the table. That’s not just because of your great Jardiance sales. I’m tired of hearing how I overlap with this and this. Obesity specs have partners too, the BI rep. Let’s be real.

No respect for people the way they have gone about it and the events leading up to it. I didn’t need the fruit basket. That was a few months ago and now I’m worried if I have a job. The anxiety and stress is unreal to now just have a waiting game for a month.
 




Hmm.... I actually agree with this. But how do these executive reps get laid off then? It would either be based soley on salary, or up to the manager. The last thing I want is my DEI manager making a decision based on race when I am a Caucasian male
Offer a VERP for more tenured reps … most would take it and run at this point just seeing what this all has become. No HR issues with age if one leaves with a VERP

Serious question. Why do you think there will be more layoffs? S.R. never said anything about having more layoffs. The only thing she said is that she will provide clarity for the connected care layoffs in November.

It’s a good product! But how long is the contract with BI to co-promote? Thats another thing to consider.
