Sonosite

So, I interviewed with Sonosite for the MSK role selling to physician offices. Sonosite's reputation is pretty good in my area, so I thought, what the hell, I'll give it a shot. What a joke. The hiring manager was some guy named Rick. I have never met a more arrogant douchebag in my life. I feel very sorry for anyone who works for him. Seriously, I have no idea how he got a job at your company. Apparently, after reading through some of the posts here, he has really done a terrible job at managing his team and is really just relying on the other manager to do his work for him.

Well I'll be damned. You guys finally got clearance. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to submit.

All this talk for months and their submission date was October. ;)

Keep this in mind folks. If you are told something at a sales or regional meeting, there are always ways to research fact from fiction.

Good luck everyone and Congratulations on your new US. It sounds promising.

Meh, painful road to work out bugs. Gestures on control are not working as well as expected.
Fuji field service engineer plan is troublesome at best.

Interesting. Just had a recruiter call me about this. Glad I came here.

It truly is a sinking ship. It's sad really, it used to a good company. Kevin made sure that it has become a micro-managed mishap that is becoming the joke of the industry. The decisions that are being made from the top are just asinine.

How about we take a look at managerial model? There are some who have earned their stripes by working themselves up and good for them: think Rob Lewis. Great guy, great manager.

Then there are others: Look at the MSK side - Rick Harper. If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting this piece of crap yet, consider yourself lucky. He's had 15 jobs in 30 years but somehow he was able to come on board here despite having zero experience. HINT: He's friends with Brian Leck.

We're left with people like Mike McHugh, who is lying, conniving, snake in the grass. The good managers leave. We're promised products and demo units but they don't show. They keep pushing the dates back.

What did we hear at the NSM? Education is our first product! Yet, all of our education hinges on one person - Daniel Shelton. Everyone knows that he's good, real good. And everyone knows that he will leave this shitty company, probably sooner rather than later. Then what?

It's sad that our company has come to this. As someone who has been around here for a while, I believe it's finally time to leave. There are some really good people here, but the bad ones have just ruined it.

Just happened to run across this while doing some research after being contacted for a position.
Wow is all I can say!! The medical sales field never fails to amaze me at how people seem to stick around and stay employed in this field. After reading comments on the manager who's resume is linked above and having experienced this individual and the decimation and mass exodous of a highly sucessfull sales force at one of the companies listed on his resume it just blows that this guy keeps pulling the same stunts and gets away with it. He came in as a side kick to the VP of sales and proceeded to alienate and offend a sales force where 90% of the reps achieved and exceeded quota year after year. This guy was a colossal asshole and repeatedly made incompetent mistakes to turn around a sales culture of dominance and achievement into a confused, mismanaged rat ship you couldn't get off fast enough. It takes years and years to develop a seasoned group of performers and this king of d-bag came in a destroyed it. The VP of sales managed to get a contract from the parent company who had no clue about those two.
Looking over his resume and that time period and knowing the growth and numbers, his resume is a fucking LIE!! What a d-bag, seems like this guys MO is to insulate himself with a "I can't fuck it up bad enough boss" and do it every few years. How can anybody keep hiring a sales force destroyer is amazing!! No axe to grind here, was just amazed one person could come in and destroy ten years of work in a year!! Fuck you RH if you read this and BM too !!
