Sanofi Contract?

Any thoughts on what will happen with the Sanofi re-org? Has anyone heard any definitive word on whether we will be rolled in? I know they said the "top performers" would have the opportunity, just curious if anyone has heard a timeline for this.

On a side note, we make jack and work twice as hard as our non-CSO counterparts. And with vacation time that is laughable.

I have heard from a RSM that manager input will be considered, relationships with the office displayed in ride alongs with total office calls etc. I think Nov 22nd is an important date on the timeline of new territory alignment and rep assignment per DSM.

Anyone else have in put?

If I told anyone that Sanofi is playing another
Game with our bonus' again would they believe me?
I don't think so cause no one would believe a company would be
that horrible.
Well guess again!
This company sucks and should be ashamed at themselves and
SUED big time!

How are things going on this contract? Position just popped up in my town and wanted to get an idea for the morale these days – I know I should run away but I was just laid off by one of the big Pharma players and I'm looking for more of a part-time gig:)

Thank you for any info – most appreciated!

If you want to be underpaid and disrespected, this might be the perfect gig. The morons interviewing for this are just that, morons. Most of what you are told by recruiter is a lie. Keep looking, you will find something more promising than lies.

Sanofi contracts are notorious for interviewing current or former Quintiles reps in order to pad candidate numbers while they hire external people. Previous poster is correct.

Question- are you guys promoting Affrezza, or is that being done by direct Sanofi reps?
Looking at a Q job on this contract, primary care- I know its a bad idea but was just displaced by a big pharma co in diabetes and this would be a cake walk, that is, unless I would be selling the inhaled insulin. Any insight would be much appreciated!!

Some of us promote Afrezza, but you clearly don't have enough ambition to make the effort. Good luck finding a "cake walk" in the current market.

This is the worst contract ever!! Do not entertain the thought of signing up for this gig. Sanofi is a terrible client. All the managers do is blame the Quintiles reps for their low numbers. All of the ABL's (DM's) are snakes. If you are on this contract I would advise you to not trust anyone that is a Sanofi employee. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I'm dead serious. You have been warned.

This contract is unlike anything I have ever encountered in my life. The original contracts said that company cars were in it. It took almost a year fro them to have a conference call and day that company cars would not be part of the contract. Neither (quintiles or Sanofi) party will take blame for where the mistake happened. During the last reorganization (November 2014), they retitled themselves from District manager and regional managers to "Area Business Leaders & Regional Business leaders," shouldn't it be those who follow you that decide if you are a "leader" or not? I assure you, no one in this company leads from the front. My very own Regional business director here in Florida has said a number of times that he is not a people person. I do no understand how someone who is NOT a people person comes into a leadership position of sales people. The direction changes monthly and they use negative reinforcement to motivate people. motivate. . . I use that term loosely.

I have seen these same "leaders" believe in making people feel bad if they are not at quota versus finding ways to motivate them to exceed. literally. i joke not.

Lets talk specialty positions. . . Management looks at these positions as a "mini manager" job. They have the specialty reps working on spreadsheets and doing mindless work in their offices versus having them sell. Seems cushy, right? until your reach and frequency do not meet expectations.

Lets talk product. . . Affrezza. The inhaleable insulin. . great product. Horrible marketing. Sanofi has ruined the drug and will most likely need to do a relaunch if they choose to make the investment. If 50 new perscriptions nationally come in a month, that would be a lot. As for Toujeo. . . It has no significant differences to lantus and still not being marketed properly.

If you are looking to really push the product and and you can convince an HCP to use it, there will be no leave behinds for the office other than samples. No dosing cards. . . Marketing is out of them by the first day of every month and they do not think it is important to restock and give the sales people the necessities to drive business. THERE IS A MAJOR DISCONNECT BETWEEN MARKETING & SALES.

If you are in need of job then, by all means, take the job. But DO NOT stop your search. THis company would rather rehire and spend the money on training then to treat their employees properly and invest on keeping them on board.

despite the management sanofi has been successful. But like all things in the universe, it will catch up with them. use them for the cash today, but do not plan on a future tomorrow.
