Yeah. But nothing has come of it. You'd be naive to thing something would.
Same old stuff. They're untouchable.
"Pfizer's chief compliance officer, Doug Lanker, said that "in a large sales force, successful sales techniques spread quickly," but that top Pfizer executives were not aware of the "significant mis-promotion issue with Bextra" until federal prosecutors began to show them the evidence.
SUCH A LIE!
Look back to the contraceptive mandate. It's no wonder who was behind that!

Wait a minute now. I thought Pfixer was not suppose to support or campaign for a single party?

It boggles my mind because this company USE to be so conservative and didn't want attention drawn to it's role in politics. Seems like SS is outdoing herself in showing where her favoritism lies, but it's a direct reflection on this company. In my opinion and others it is totally inappropriate.
Here is some info I found interesting:

Pfizer, Too Big to Fail. Too Big to Nail.
If you do some research you will find out that Pfizer, alledgedly, used the old Pharmacia and Upjohn as Shell Companies to take the heat on Bextra. Of course Pharmacia and Upjohn were defunct but somebody re enlisted them as a ghost corporation or shell corporation in Delaware, to take the heat. Otherwise, Pfizer could have lost the ability to contract to Medicare and many jobs and profits would have gone down the drain.
Be glad you work for such a "slick" company. The army of lawyers stay pretty busy.
