Salix?

This thread is very interesting folks- not one person has gotten the job. Just people who have made it to the third interview and have found out they didn't get the job. Basically this is how it went down. If the Salix people didn't pick a Quintiles person for the third interview the other candidate has been told no by someone? I was sitting in the holding room with either Quintiles former reps ( 2 or more contracts) or B2B experience no Pharma. Either Quintiles/Salix have worked out a condition of staying below a certain ratio with certain experience /salary per team or something weird is going on. Seriously no one has been told they have the job but were told they would know within 1-2 days. More than likely if you emailed the recruiter and you didn't get a no you didn't get the job you did get it or your a maybe.

I honestly think that Quintiles is preparing offers to begin sending out next week. No one has received an offer yet that I am aware of. Regardless of being former contract rep or not. If the director liked you in the third round and you pass background check you most likely have the job. Come Monday I'm sure people will begin to hear back from Quintiles. I interviewed Thursday and was told I'd hear back in a couple of days. The director in my third interview stated that Quintiles would be in touch since they are the company sending out offers, not Salix. Salix can't offer jobs.. Quintiles can and will once they receive all info. need from Salix and via background checks I'm guessing.

If it is true that a candidate has gone through three interviews, the last being the RM, and received an email that he is no longer be considered. Than Quintiles really does have a big influence in who gets the job.

quick interview question....when you get to interview location, do you check in with a registration type thing? Fill out any forms? How are they handling all that?

The Dallas location was set up in one of the ballrooms at the hotel. Since I had no prior guidance, I asked the front desk which room Quintiles was using. We just walked in and told Quintiles recruiter we were there and sat at tables with other candidates and waited to be directed upstairs at our designated time to the interview rooms. There were no forms to fill out. It was very laid back. Good luck!

Thanks for the response! Good luck to you as well!

Was the Dallas interview at the DFW Hyatt? I interviewed there on Friday but for a different Valeant contract. Same scenario, interview with 2 DM's, then 1 person selected to move on to the RM. I was selected. I haven't heard anything yet either and was told offers would be emailed middle of this week. The other person that was interviewing for the same territory was with me in the holding room, and after we both interviewed we were there waiting, it was a bit awkward. I have been watching this thread because it seems like maybe they would send the offers out about the same time....

DFW Embassy. I understand that they have a large project. I understand that they can't respond to a zillion emails regarding responses. But it seems like they are risking all of their effort that they made with the people they are choosing by not responding. I interviewed with RM but have an offer coming tomorrow that I will choose over Salix bc I can't risk waiting for them to respond. And I prefer Salix.

That was my concern, as well. It's almost been a week since interviews in Atlanta and everyone is worrisome from not hearing a thing, that I wonder if ppl will begin accepting other offers if we are not getting feedback of some sort!
