Salix?

Everyone's concern is legit b/c of how it all started out with the hiring freeze. However, tom. We should hear more and I, too, rec'd the text that a delivery is coming tom. GREAT news!!! To the negative commenter above.....totally unnecessary!!

I didn't receive a text about a shipment? Should I be concerned?

I did all the preboarding and the drug screen but have heard nothing.

I received shipment information from FedEx regarding the shipment today. I also received an email a few days ago from the quintiles manager, stating we would receive our computer/iPad on today and would have a mandatory conference call on Monday.

Hi. New to thread. In Northeast region. Believe it or not, as interesting as it may seem, I just had a Quintiles-Salix recruiter email me for the first time for a NE Pharma job. No experience in pharma, and read every detail of your posts. Thanks for the heads up. Wish me luck considering they begin Jan 9th for the home study. Had previous sales experience but overall quite happy because have waited over a decade to interview with a pharma company. Will study hard on the Salix, Xixifan, and Relistor information. Sincere thanks too on the questions lead. Super congratulations to those who got the job, and don't fret regarding the contract length not being fulfilled. Stay positive and don't accidentally sabotage the chance to even get this off and going. If nothing else, you get something for your length of stay. Good luck new reps, good luck to those passed up...I'm sure you'll find something with your experience and to have made it as far in as you had. Hope I get this. Had a second interview shot for another reputable pharma company a few years ago but was caring for a sick family member out of town, so my first shot was cut short, and I was blessed enough to spend the last days with my father.

It might help if I spelled the drug correctly! Xifaxan. ;)

I'm proud for you! Good Luck! Pharma isn't rocket science...just have to have that drive and perseverance they want to see. Don't stress about getting on board this close to start date. None of us are any further ahead than you at this point. If you get the position..reach out to your teammates with experience if it gets hectic for you. There are many that would love to give you a "heads up" on what to expect at a formal pharma training. :)
