Sorry messed up previous post, I received offer via phone call, they said email will follow. I interviewed last Monday in Dallas

I also received a phone call on yesterday afternoon offering me the job and I was told I would receive an offer letter in the next 24 to 48 hours....

Start date of 1/9, offers will go out by end of this week to allow you 2 weeks notice to current employer (if applicable) and also allow time for background and drug tests. Don't sweat it until next Tuesday.

From what I've seen/heard, most offers were to former Quintiles

or will be to a B2b w no former Pharma if you went to interview and you were not former Quintiles or someone who has not been in Pharma prior you were a filler.. waste of your time I can almost bet ya

Former Quintiles with 20 years experience here, interviewed yesterday, did not go to the RM interview, a nice young man with no pharma experience was passed to RM, as we were waiting, he asked me what a typical day as a pharma rep was like.....

I think it depended if the manager wanted to control the reps, if they were controlling, they pick newbies. One problem is that it takes 1.5 to 2 years for a new pharma rep to understand the business and get good at it. I do not see this contract lasting that long.
