Safe vs. Doomed Divisions?

sounds good but not realistic… unless you are not a white, middle aged male. You will get passed up by younger inexperienced people of color. I have made it to the final interview and when I get the rejection letter, I’m not surprised anymore. When I ask my doctors who gave me a reference, who the new rep is?.. the answer is always the same. And the doctors ask me how I was beaten out by this person. I laugh now, even though it’s sad. Talent doesn’t matter, race and gender, or transgender do.

Like I said there is a reason you didn’t get the jobs and it has zero to do with your race. It’s evident from your posts the reason why and if you learned to just compete against yourself and over prepare for each interview you might actually land a job! White middle age male here who has landed almost every job I have ever interviewed for including Pfizer just about a year ago. It’s weak to play the race card, it certainly has an impact on some level but letting that define your outcome is just being a weak person.

No, you got your gig because you’re a salad-tossing cork soaker. They get extra points in interviews as well. I’m a retired manager and I watched the company slowly slip in PC hell, just as performance tanked.

Coincidence? Doubtful. Don’t get me wrong, some of the strongest sr managers, mid/low level managers and reps I knew in my 30 years were women and/or minorities, but the thumb on the scale (to help these folks get ahead) got way out of hand. I had people forced onto my teams who had no business being their, just to make our diversity goals.

You were probably fired. I love anonymous boards they make keyboard cockiness when in real life people are cowards. You don’t know me and that’s a good thing, enjoy your “retirement”. I don’t doubt the company will screw people, look at Bold Moves 3.3. A completely unknown structure or job requirements; many will be laid off. Regardless, my family will be fine financially as we have saved and planned for any scenario.

So let’s get the facts straight, you were with Pfizer for 30 years and then retired and you still come to CP to post…sure thing bud. That makes you in your Mid to late 50s lmfao! When I leave pharma this site will never be looked at again.
 
































It’s not about teams it’s about people. Hopefully managers will get to choose. Team 2 in our region had the laziest, cheating person I’ve ever known. Never works and none of us can figure out how. Oh, must be that she complained of harassment by a manager. If I lose my job and she stays….

Thank you as someone on team 1! I agree, we have some amazing talent in my district and I don’t want to see any of them lose their jobs. Unfortunately, I do believe the easiest and least litigious route is to completely eliminate us. I am appreciative of people who view us as people and value who we are versus those who say bye bye team 1; to those people I hope karma occurs in your lives.
