Restasis Contract Sales Force

I am pleased to see that this thread continues to simmer down. Some are reporting positive communication between the R/B with the Green Team. This was expected over time and hopefully more communication will follow. Enjoy the long weekend. Good day.

Since you seem to have forgotten everything that's been posted we can revisit them for you. Don't mistake people not posting for not being upset. We have just said it 300x and don't want to sound like a broken record- like you.

1, We don't need another sales force to sell Restasis (no matter how exceptional they are as you say). The drug is 20 years old and the 2 reps in the territory are more than capable of selling it- especially when there's really just Lumigan.

2. The green team is killing our access. We are running into each other and doctors and staff are getting annoyed. Can't say I blame them either...

3. Blue/Red reps are not talking/sampling Restasis as much because they are worried about overdoing it with doctors. Since the red/blues are the ones with the relationships this will likely hurt us.

4. The green team was supposed to be calling on low volume OD's that we are not calling on. Instead they are calling on our high volume doctors and glaucoma specialists who feel the last thing they need is another Restasis rep. If Allergan now knows that these low volume OD's are so pointless to call on, then why did they hire this salesforce?

5. At the managers meeting they discussed adding about 20 targets to the green team. Unfortunately instead of low volume OD's, these will be people who are in offices they already have on their call panel. So, even more overlap and frustration for doctors and the red/blue reps.

6. Allergan is a very respected organization in the eye care space however, greediness to take all dry eye market share without a need for more reps is frustrating to everyone.

7. The green team sees the writing on the wall. They are confused as well and know there is not a place for them.

Maybe once people start leaving Allergan for a position where they can actually run their own territories you will finally see the light. At least then there will be a need for the green team. Well I forgot, they don't even know glaucoma.

All spot on especially the access part. Plus, green reps are already LEAVING! How badly does that reflect on Allergan and the front-facing doctors? Something needs to be done.

Just enjoy the time off. These are 1st world problems.
1. 20 years old drug that can grow and the green reps are exceptional
2. Communication
3. R/B not selling is unacceptable
4. Green is calling on their panel
5. 1st world again
6. Yes we are respected. David laid the groundwork for that.
7. There is no writing on the wall. Do not start rumors.

Allergan is the best place to be. Absurd that anyone would be going anywhere. OP? Ha! Good day.
