For those reps that are attending the meeting in Orlando, perhaps come together and raise your concerns to the sales leadership. At a minimum don’t sit and cheer for them as they take the stage. Maybe a bull-shit chant, or an ass-hole chant. Definitely no cheering.
What you need is a leader that isn’t afraid to speak up.
Get organized!
Organize is right! It needs to happen. Do not applaud, other than in breakouts that involve sales trainers, they warrant your respect. We know no one has the guts to boo Deaver and the like, but don't applaud, don't clap, silence is powerful. If they hire a motivational speaker, ask your self did they cut $15k or any kind of compensation for his/her 'performance.'? Why not use that to help pay the sales team? Any of that team building programs, how much did that cost to put together? The cost of materials, such as t-shirts, paper, ink. The soft cost behind putting it together? Think about it, it adds up, and it could have helped with compensation, R&D, etc... Also, ask yourselves how many RM's and higher have left? If not many, why? Obviously it's compensation. Should they say their getting a pay cut too, trust me, that's a lie.
Do not applaud. Let the silence become so loud that the stock holders here it. Let it affect their pocket book, because once that happens, trust me, change will then occur.
