Regenerative Medicine

The best thing about this place and the amount of money that I make and how little I work. Ever since I switched over from ADHD I only have to leave my house 2/3 days per week and make double. I LOVE this place!!!

Atleast the good money would be rolling again...!!

Pretty quiet out here- What's the good word? I feel a bit isolated and would love to hear what people are hearing/seeing...

in terms of..?? Like good egg vs bad egg?
He's a good egg that has gotten screwed by Shire. Shows how jacked up managment is when they don't promote top rep in company. What a joke

RM is finished, there are 3 competitors coming to market in the next 18-24 months - Dermapace, Grafix, DSC127 (Derma Sciences). All 3 are better products than Dermagraft... Dermagraft has a 30% closure rate with 100% closure at 8 procedures. Every thing in this area is way better, Dermapace was the lowest of the 3 new ones with 48% closure rate with 90% closure but with only 4 applications. In the new trial Sanuwave is going up to 8 applications.... The closure rate is expected to vastly improve. RM will be done in 18-24 months, $750 million down the drain. Do not doubt me, there will be layoffs coming in RM if not dissolving the BU like Renal.

What's Flemming supposed to do - he says he wants to see good sales numbers. Why wouldn't he bring in former cronies if he doesn't like our sales? You can leave instead of whine.

The competition is not what is going to close down our RM business. This CMS issue will not be changed and it will end us. Do you think they will change it because a pharmaceutical company asks them to? Absolutely no chance. We are done in 6-18 months. Why would a wound center use DG when they will lose money? The government knows what they are doing and they will not bend to big pharma.

Since this is likely to happen early in 2014, maybe some of us can get lucky and transfer back to ADHD. With the closing of RM, selling pills at least will keep us in a job.

From CMS:

"The grafts cost about $1,500 and the physician fee allowable by Medicare is about $110. The 2014 OPPS rule will bundle both payments together and allow $840, which is less than the cost of the graft."

No hospital or doctor can afford to absorb a $600 loss every time they use a product.
