Regenerative Medicine

Ding ding ding. Plenty. And then sold us all out, cashed their 750M check, and now everyone wants to blame Shire Management. Shameful.

Who is it that tells us to still wear scrubs? Wink, wink

Who tells us to do clinical hours?

To violate HIPPA?

To go through patient data?

To run insurance for off label cases if they are private insurance?

Who guided us to such a significant drop in sales and maybe the worst managed buyout in pharma history?

Who tells us to pay our speakers as many times as we can to make sure they keep using our product?

Answer - Shire Managers and Management - The worst scum in all of pharmacueticals - no ethics at all. They have a whatever it takes to get the business attitude with the results of a third grader.

DERMAGRAFT product sales grew by 21% compared to Q1 2013 but were down 57% compared to Q2 2012.

Growth in total product sales was moderated by DERMAGRAFT® (down 57% to $22 million)

But when you say Shire Mgmt, you cant mean KR & DT, they weren't giving those instructions. That came from a level some way below that surely?

Heck of a read.

Sounds like to me JJ was played. Reminds me of Enron where an executive (known as the Black Widow) would promote a senior leader to a position of greater responsibility and this was rolled out with tremendous fanfare and congratulations. This role typically included some new skill set that needed development. First "slip" and the guy that was just promoted would get canned.

Pretty effective way of getting ride of someone and is demonstrative of political plays at the top.

I would be upset as well.

this guy knew everything. He flipped his lid after surprise inspection from FDA. entire management knew of the problems even the ones that reported to JJ before and after JJ became president under Shire's control. He and the others probably dictated all the questionable layoffs of innocent hard working honest people. They tried to build a fictional story that is now crumbling at their feet, because there was nothing to support it. A defensive tactic for someone that has truly lost control.
All to save money, but now it is costing them way more than it would have to do things right. Despite sales investigation issues, they can't make enough to sell anyway
Check out the quarterly reports and the multi million dollar writeoffs. Lying to their shareholders as well, only a matter of time.... SEC
DOJ... FDA... soon SEC ==> corporate greed at its best

Craaaappppp. I was hoping (yeah I know not strategy) That this lame ass phama cloning was just happing with my....sales challenged zD. To have confirmed (what I knew was true)
that this is company wide policy is tragic.

You have to be 'Enron" type incompetent to sink this product. 80% jumps in quotas, quickly followed by 50% decreases. Man can't wait to see what the next 15 minutes brings.
Turning over territories 3 times in less then 12 months. Yeah nothing' says stability like 'whack-a-rep'.
Doomsday letter with my product, that I'm have not been made aware of. Really!?
Hmm, so the total turnover in house in 3 minutes is not a good sign?? Who knew?

I'm thinking days people not months!!!!

The manager for Dean is just one of the managers forcing us to do all of this illegal activity. Shire is the least ethical company I have ever worked for. They talk about ethics and then act like scum.

Soooo.....when is Shire going to realize they purchased a goose egg??? Looks like the buyout of Dermagraft is going to look worse than Apax purchasing KCI...

What we need are people who understands the wound care market to make this successful. Start looking outside this company and bring people in who know what needs to be accomplished before we are laughed at even more. If we are going to give this our best then why would we not have experienced wound care people running this. Unless of course they want us to fail as a division!

can someone please provide some insight.... Called 800 # for OIG (in previous posts) but didn't get anywhere..... they wouldn't put me through to an investigator. They just said they would take a report and an investigator would contact me if they had questions.
1) is that what you all have done ? 2) not anyonymous if they're calling me back
Figure I might as well put my two cents worth in as this ship continues to sink

Once you get to the person investigating the current Shire RM managers, you will be anonymous if you like. They are very good at keeping it confidential. In talking with them, nothing really changed from the old guard to the Shire folks.

This is so true. Lets look outside of the company! There are some great wound care people out there. We have a great product so lets not destroy it.

We will keep your information 100% confidential. We are looking for emails or some form of documentation created over the past year highlighting clinical hours and off label cases with private insurance.

I have that.
I've called the number twice, think i've pressed 5 after the prompt
I say what im calling about (shire and DOJ investigation) and they act like i have no idea what I'm talking about..."all i can do is file a fraud complaint, is that what you'd like to do?"
so 800#, then 5, then leave the info with who ever i speak with?
thanks!

Since when is there anything wrong with working clinical hours? Its not like we are giving the docs a stipend. If you want to find some dirt look at mmx-then you will fill find the pattern.

The way we do it is simply against the law. Read HIPPA. There are so many emails out there detailing that we do these in order to gain new patients. Anybody who denies that this is the reason is foolish. One day of clinical hours is training. The rest is just fishing for new patients. This is against the law and we do it every day of the work week. Shameful Shire RM management team.

When the Shire manager writes back to dispute this, please include any paragraph from HIPPA showing the way we do this is a legal act.

You are such a little 'pus$y Pharma Biatch.' This is why device companies dont hire you mindless robotic sheep! Go wax your detail pen while a search for patients and actually sell something!
