As I said earlier when I schooled you, I make more in 1 month in spine than you do in an entire year so stop pretending you are above a pfizer rep, pretty laughable actually.
Sorry scrub boy - medical reps no longer make more than Biotech reps, even in Spine. No way you make more in a month, not even in a year. You make probably about the same as them ($250k - $350k). The difference is, they have great work life balance and can work as little as 20 hours a week while you are up at the butt crack of dawn everyday and on call every weekend - now get to work!
True both 250-350k And medical reps do not get 100k yr of Co Stock as Biotech do. Biotech better than bonehead medical reps who habe to pay for many expenses. However Both are better than Pfizer & big pharma.

I used to be in pharma. Now I’m in ortho. Pay is better in Ortho but honestly I’d take a pay cut if the alternative was going back to pharma. Pharma is the perfect job for hot dumb chicks and working mothers. If you’re a dude in pharma you’re either lazy, a pussy, or you tried to get in devices and got rejected. How often do you hear about people making a move from device to pharma?

One error in your statement is management level NSD VPs Brand Directors to go back and for between both more so than reps.

Agree 91k is pretty good salary for big pharma but 30% less than Biotech who can afford to pay top dollar cuz they only hire experience successful reps w 10yrs. So Biotechs pay more period for that reason.
What’s even crazier is Gilead and Genetech are not even that high of paying companies in Biotech especially in oncology. Glassdoor is not a great litmus for biotch salaries as many companies will not disclose that data or are too small to be captured.
The smaller the biotech the bigger paycheck & bennies but also the risk. Be prepared to move every few years due to a buyout or closeout. If it's a positive buyout, take your stock wins and keep moving.
