Pfizer avg Salary 91k ranks 48th %tile

Before covid most of us worked 3hrs a day
Since home lockdown all of us work maybe 1 hr a day with 1 vcc.
The 6 virtual calls a day demand is a total impossible joke for 1 rep per territory so 2 or 3 in same geography 100000% we are forced to fake calls and falsify documentation.
Its going on in Phoenix Seattle San Fran KC Chicago Tampa Miami Philly NY NJ Cleveland Pitt---- everywhere.
All while we bank 6 figures .
But dont blame us as it is Pfizer fault for stupid metrics, more than 1 rep per territory and having female and some male DMs who dont work & are an example for us to follow. They call it work life balance---aka take kids school by 9 & pick up by 3. In between get nails done and go to gym and wink wink home office projects while doing laundry.
So all Pfizer fault we only work vouple hrs day & lie about calls

Very true. It’s not just Pfizer’s fault or just Pfizer. It’s all big Pharmas as any company with multiple divisions and therapeutic areas defaults to their 90’s primary care ‘roots’. It’s very hard for them to adjust to the current world even pre Covid. Their thinking is that of a 90’s sample dropper mentality. Throw in a TA like oncology and forget it. That job is at least 60% office based as access is very limited. One lunch a month at the accounts with access. One appointment a quarter(if you are lucky and have a good relationship) with your academics KOL’s. The rest of the time is spent dropping things off and trying to get lunches and appointments or at home handling problems that arise, trying to get appointments/lunches via emails and phone calls, doing the admin, and keeping up on the data/literature. This is the job and it’s like this in every oncology division out there. However the mass market, primary care leadership cannot get their feeble minds around this which leads to bad policies and metrics that force people to play a big silly game. That is why everyone in onc tries to get to the small and startup biotechs. They actually get the reality of the job. You can call you boss at 11am from home and not lie about it. Pfizer and other big Pharmas will never get it. They want busy work, optics and metrics. Not reality.

Pfizer ranks only 48th in pharma industry 2020 with avg salary $91k.
Decent bust not great nor industry leafing or even Top 30%
For what we actually do with a counterpart of 2 going on joint live calls and joint VCCs, we get paid pretty dam good!
Now if I was a solo rep like some companies might deserve 150k
