PAH Team Turnover is..

There is a company called Boehringer Ingelheim doing a nationwide expansion for their institutional and specialty salesforces. Soon to launch a new blood thinner called Pradaxa.

Might be a good opportunity to get away from this nut house.

Got the call, they are using The Right Thing recruiting. Sounds like a great opportunity, no options, but what I have here are so far under water what's the use?

WOW...not me... But, honored by your sentiment. I could think of 300 or so not so happy employees that are looking...right SB? Your problems are internal, not external. Look in the mirror.

UT doesn't have a company board, WTF?
Anyone know how much the base will be at UT? I need $120+ to consider. Reps are already calling to submit our names.

My guess is, based on Gileads PAH overall results, that your not worth 120 and are being significantly overpaid. Enjoy it while you can. UT wont pay that much for anyone who cant sell a once a day pill with similar efficacy to the twice a day.

The other poster is correct, the culture at UT is great, unlike Gilead or Actelion.

My options are under water, I'll take a modest pay reduction to leave Gilead and be happy again.

I guess its true, UT isn't interested in big pharma DMs. At least 2 PAH RDs unsuccessfully tried to move over to UT. The new UT RDs will be announced in the next week or so. Now, these role-play analysists are stuck here refocusing on "reach and frequency" and trying to keep their better reps from jumping ship.

SB,

We appreciate your concern about a mass exodus in the PAH division this fall to UT and LungRx, but we've done our due diligence of the situation and find very little reason to worry. Apparently, UT and LungRx don't provide unattainable expectations, they have a culture where employees don't work in fear of losing their jobs, there is a lack of micromanagement and there is virtually no role-playing. Why would anyone ever want to work in such an environment?

Don't lose any sleep over retention, once our people discover the above, they will pay us to retain them.

Yours truly,

DW and JG

I donated my "212 degree" and another cheesy Gilead meeting t-shirt to the Goodwill yesterday. I found the experience a minor, yet very therapeutic approach to purging this company from my life.

Perfect timing with RDs away this week getting a tongue lashing from ineffective, arrogant SRDs and the incompetent VP Conehead we can easily travel to meet with our new friends at United Therapeutics and discuss future employment with them.
