Ok people I haver read all of your complaints and I am just wondering will any of this horrible behavior change? Who has the ability to change what is going on?

A few questions I would like to have answered if anyone knows....

did they open the call center in KY?
where did abdul dean go?
does anyone really think that the Ceo or upper management cares???

Yes, the call center is fully open and operational. Abdul retired and last I heard bought a gas station with a convenience store to pass his time. And does the CEO and upper management care? Of course! Although, the few people on this board would choose to believe otherwise. You have to consider the fact that they are no longer employed there though. And there are reasons for that.

I think it depends on the center and not the company in a whole. I work in the mountain region and I couldn't ask for better management. The pays not the best, but it's $7-$8 above minimum. Things could be a lot worse. Don't get me wrong, there are areas for improvement, but if you can name any company that is perfect at what they do, it'll be then that I'm impressed. The only people that complain or get stressed out are not doing there job the way it should be done. Follow company rules and regulations and you won't have to worry about 'being let go. I've personally seen mistakes made by employees and there was meetings about it and the problems were fixed. No one was fired. All potential employees need to keep in mind that this post was created by a disgruntled ex-employee that apparently has a lot of time on there hands... the lawsuit hasn't happened yet... what's the hold up? It's overall a good company and from my personal experiences, patients come first. Everyone makes mistakes... it depends on the degree and the amount of mistakes that put your job at risk. Everyone needs to put on their big girl panties, suck it up, find a new job, and forget about PPS, if they made you so miserable.

Pass the word, here is my latest prognostication

1. PPS designs a new commission plan for their PCCs that benefits the company more than the rep. (Although it will still be advantages to their top reps.)

2. The billing office and Peak Sleep get moved to Kentucky within the next year.

3. There will be a reduction of CSR's and RET's over the next six months.

Take it from the guy who told you the company would sell three months before it actually sold.

Careful dude, only a handful of people know that info. Might be careful in what you put on here.

I was told by an Area Mgr in December of 2007 that PPS was planning on moving the CSR position out of the center and into the Kentucky callcenter. The Driver position was going to be reduced also because the callcenter was going to take over the daily patient calling responsibilities that the Driver has and possibly more.

anyone knows a good lawyer in bay area(California) that handles lawsuits of this sort??? eg:medicare/medical fraud, violating labor laws, discrimination etc????

please post the answer here...

Sorry, it was a reference to a PM I received on these boards regarding the DM of that fun little cluster of centers in the NE corner of the country.

I actually just hit my 1 year mark here, but thanks for the warning.

And there's no way in hell I would want to try running a center. The people who run centers (and by that I mean everyone but the managers) have the hardest job out there -- not only are they the face of the company but they have to take the customer complaints and incidents to their faces. They have to be on call 24/7 and deal with whatever stupid or crazy idea comes through the boom for the next month's in-service. It's not something I would wish on anyone, and it is greatly appreciated by those of us in Operations who actually work with you guys at the centers.

I've gotten only 1 PM and a couple QI emails so far about suggestions. I really appreciate it guys! I had hoped that my presence here could serve to answer some questions, but it seems most of you are just too upset and frustrated to try and bridge the gap. This is a place where you can be anonymous and say what you want without fear of repercussions. Hopefully you can use it to improve the experience that other people have with PPS.

I have pictures of the New Jersey warehouse.

I recently attended an open sales interview for the Dallas/Carrollton Texas area.
Anyone have personal experience working in this area, management, or anything you can share with me? Also was told the next step is a test anyone know what kind of a text it is?
Thank you

' Abdul retired and last I heard bought a gas station with a convenience store to pass his time'. LOLOLOL! This is hysterical! Abdul the driven 'sales manager', 'Sales GURU', retires, errrrr...meaning....you retire or were going to fire your ass now....your choice Abdul! Now, 'owns' a gas station to pass his time! LOLOLOLOL!.... If you believe this or if it is true.... its the understatement of the year..for this company! An upper management person goes from being this companies GURU salesman to owning an Indian owned and operated 'gas station'. WOW!.....fill'er up!

How does one own a 3 million dollar home and a gas station? At least thats what Abdul says he owns!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOL!..... someone made to much 'honest money' w/PPS!?

PPS SUCKS!

Chicago

Abdul owns a gas station! I always knew that dude was a camel jockey! Anyways, its the CP board so I am letting it rip. Dude is a donkey, and bangs the glory hole of the whore Michelle out of one of the Northern CA offices. Together they take turns shoving ding dongs in and out of each others assholes before Michelle felches the cream out of Abduls colon. Fuck You Abdul, and Fuck You Michelle. You are one giant waist of a womans body! Feltcher!

'DITTO', nicely put.....Abdul was involved with a dude in the Chicago area a few years back.
It was confirmed because his 'friend' in the area had a spat in one of the local offices.

Another dramatic turn in this thread.....ok SOCIALIST PIG. No boots left since you sunk so far deep in the dung you've been spewing out of your mouth.

Will not stop using Kennedy's words...free country remember. Oh that's right you want it to be Socialist with OBAMA! See it's already starting....

See Malcolm Gladwell's new book, Outliers. You remember Gladwell, right? Blink? The Tipping Point?

Well, in his new book he explodes the myth of the "self-made man". Points out that even rich guys like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett freely admit that there is some luck involved in becoming wildly successful and that Bill Gates doesn't have a gazillion more dollars than you or me because he is a gazillion times smarter or worked a gazillion times harder. Gladwell points out that Gates had something that only a handful of people had: access to a computer YEARS before most of us ever saw one up close. Gladwell isn't saying Gates became rich totally by luck but he says Gates had a lucky break and seized it. I once heard Warren Buffet say that he was lucky to be born in a time and in a place when his unique skills - asset allocation - could make him rich. Buffet points out that had he been born in another time or place he might not even have skills to make a living.

I recently had the satisfaction of redirecting an O2 setup from PPS to another company in the Chicago area. What a great feeling! The physician's group I work for was very open to my views since I had once worked at PPS. Hey Kevin, you really need to stop treating your employees so poorly. With a revolving door as PPS has, word of mouth is very important :)

Actually the number is more like 20. The company only has about 1000 employees total (including corporate, pharmacy and reimbursement). You really think that 10% would disappear overnight?

Yes I do think PPS would do something like that. I am one of those CSR's that got the boot on 12/10/08. Not gonna slam them too hard. If you worked there, you know that someone is sitting in a cozy office looking at all the different things posted about PPS.

I think the picture is getting out there of how bad this company really is. RUN! PPS Is expecting CSR's to carry a load of 500 patients. The RET's are getting stretched thin too.

Then the OM, DM, and RM's give me a break. Suck it to all of you. The RET's and CSR's run that company. They need to be given the credit. But bow down to the PCC's that walk on water and then lose your job.

This company has a corporate office that is sitting around the big round table trying to salvage their jobs....so they cut ours. The little people that make the company run. Then people will start to say, Oh it's because of the Japan company that bought PPS. BS to all of it.

It's only time before that company goes down. I'm glad I don't work there and yes I find it a blessing. Couldn't pay me to work there again. I miss the patients though!! Best of luck to all who apply. Don't fall for the values, they're B.S. too!!http://www.cafepharma.com/boards/images/icons/arms.gif
