Pacific Pulmonary Services-Class Action Lawsuit

Mr.White Clouds, I didn't know that ret's and csr's were suppose to take a break and not provide quality customer care. Some of us never stopped giving quality care. Yes the company has done alot of reorganizing but they forgot to release some of the Dark Clouds that still linger. One more thing, you knew the company was going to be sold back in Jan.07, that type of information is not shared with just anybody.You really must be important to someone. Tell us since you have connections up with the White Clouds, what is in store for PPS? more layoffs? less managers?FOS?PCC's?etc,etc....

You are pathetic and feel sorry for you. You spend all this time on some drug rep board thinking you're making a difference (you've written 80% of the posts). Do you have a family, hobbies, or anything better to be doing with your time? Since you left, the company has become even more profitable. I suppose the layoffs were the write move. How do you like 'dem apples?
 






Can someone PLEASE shed some light on how to get O2 Referrals. How did PPS instruct Reps to get the 02 referrals. Did you basically harass the referall coordinators on a weekly basis? Did you guys give them money/gift cards every week etc?

Plase someone shed some light. Im a brand new rep for oxygen and am not able to get any results? I heard that its good to ask for do oxymetrys.

We give them free trips around the world. Hold a gun to their head till they give us referrals. Oh, also high priced hookers work well.

I've been interviewing (and went for a ride-along with a very professional person) for a RET position in the SoCal area and am pleased with the people I've met at the center: nice, professional, team-spirited. I'm hoping to get hired on even though the paycheck is much smaller than what I'm accustomed. A great work environment makes a world of difference in one's quality of life, no?

You must be a RM or a SVP for PPS . Next time, use a dictionary or learn grammar.
 






Get use to the "smaller than what I am accustomed to" Paycheck. They DO NOT give yearly raises routinely and if your RM/DM doesn't fight for you, you won't recieve a raise no matter how hard you work.
And if you are lucky to receive a raise, expect anywhere from 10 cents to 40 cents. 40 cents being your maximum amount. And when it comes to bonuses, don't expect to receive much here as well,B/C if you are fortunate to bonus(once per quarter) you must split that with your fellow ret's / csr's and don't forget the government gets a share as well. But maybe you'll get in good with the rm/dm and bonus several times per quarter.Maybe.Probably Not.

Most of the time you can tell the mood of a center through the true feelings of the CSR's and sometimes the Drivers. Really can't go by the what a Manager or a Sales person says, remember they are in Sales. They sugar coated really well. A great work environment only happens if you have all the tools to perform and if you have the man/woman power. Good Luck.
 






The initial atmosphere in the center DON"T MEAN CRAP!. Trust me. I worked for PPS for nearly 3 years and seen over 25 people come and go (CSR, PCC, CM, RET).. Every time one of these new people came in for an interview or a ride-along, everyone put on their happy faces.. and once the person was not around, we went back to our normal miserable selves.

Once the victim was hired and we got to know them, we just let our true colors show, and they all caught on VERy qUIickly... So, take this from someone who knows first hand.. if you are desperate for a job, then take the a RET position, if you can hold out alittle longer, and or maybe panhandle for some change everyday on the corner, you will be better off.
 






NEW Lawsuit PENDING from NEW JERSEY!!

To anyone on this forum looking for information concerning a Class-Action Lawsuit.. paperwork is in the process of being filed in the State of New Jersey. This lawsuit will entail Gross Misconduct by Management, Medicare fraud, Unethical Work Practices, and Wrongful Terminations.

I, along with several other former employees from the "Great Lakes Region" have initiated this suit, and welcome anyone who is willing to hop on board. This case is being handled "Pro Bono" by a very close friend of my family, who is a leading lawyer for a major firm in Northern New Jersey. I brought this forum to the lawyers attention and within the matter of minutes, he was on board.

We have been working endless hours, contacting former employees (managers included.. some still with the company). Obtaining sworn affidavits of the misjustices that have taken place at this company for the past few years. According to our lawyer, there are numerous other lawsuits pending against this organization, so it will be an uphill battle, but with the proper cooperation from anyone with pertinent information, the lawyer is in this for the long haul. If we fall short in the judicial system, there is always the court of public appeal. I have numerous contacts with local news stations, newspapers, and other media sources.

So, if the so called QI Person who is posting on here, cares to address the crowd, please feel free to enlighten us, because this isn't going to be a restricted suit, I am making sure it goes all out. Starting with pretty boy floyd (Kevin) out in Chicago all the way up the ranks to corporate. So make sure you let Carolyn (the legal counsel) know that we are coming, and we are bringing hell with us.

Yes, that may have been true for your office. The office I've been to on several occasions (ie, an unannounced visit for an informational interview for a RET position, the interview visit, and a ride-along visit) has a positive spirit amongst the CSR, RETS and the manager. I'm not a young cat so I can sense the work environment pretty good. A lot of one's experiences has to do with attitude, of course.
 






Okay Old Head... if that is how you feel... then good luck with your new position, and keep me posted in about 6 weeks, when you are running home from work looking for a new job online everyday... HINT!! Don't post your resume on CareerBuilder.com... they have someone in corporate who looks through there and picks out current employees and those employees are fired... just alittle word of advice Old Head.
 












Just how they always find a loop-hole in the system and take advantage of it... if you look long and hard enough, you will find a loop-hole of your own.

And trust me when I tell you this... there are soo many people coming and going through that corporate office right now, there is always something falling through the cracks... you just need to pay enough attention and catch it when it happens.

I have found plenty of "uncrossed" T's and "undotted" I's. If anyone is able to.. reread your employee manual and find the part that states, any employee who keeps company information confidential (ie.. you don't tell their secrets to other providers or give away patients) you are supposed to be paid $100.00 per month bonus.. when you get a chance, ask your manager about that... wait and see how quick they change the subject or run out of the room.

Hey, if you want to put it in your employee manual and don't follow through with it... then that is a Capital T, that is not crossed.

WOW, look at all these people coming in and bringing "hell" to PPS!? I see one flipping person here.....what happened people? Realized that maybe YOU were at fault and an whiner and don't have anything substantial to add to the lawsuit? Yeah, that's what I thought. I praise the people who might go after Kevin. He is a waste of a manager for sure, but make sure you dot your I's and cross your T's. Very good attorneys here pals....

This board has turned into a $#@$ show. The fact of the matter is, growing companies change. You either jump on board or you sink, if any of you think that your going to get better treatment with another company than think again. It's called at will folks.

As far as sale's go, it is also a sink or swim job. Try working for a true sales company that pay's commissions only. At least PPS pay's it's a reps a monthly salary, and give's you a year to prove yourself. I agree that some people were not properly trained to train and in turn did not succeed,but like I said it's a growing company that is learning from it's mistakes. I bet my pay check that companies like nike and apple have done the same thing. I know because I came from a really large corporation, and it was hell. It's too bad that some of you got caught up in the mess of it all, but that's life. Move on and find something better.
