Over 60% not making quota.. 40+% turnover..

The Amen listed above is nothing short of sacrilege. The firebrand lifestyle is changing the way business is done. Firebrands are riding motorcycles to cases to cut down on transit time (they have the women they own drop off the product to have it waiting for them). These firebrands are into women, men and everything in between as long as it helps move the needle. That is nothing to be ashamed of my close minded friends. As the great Charles Dickens once said "Gay for Pay is certainly OK". Game on hasbeens. #changingthegame

Sounds like the firebrand guy hangs out with the dos Equis guy

Bravo sir! You are clearly a Firebrand or you fully understand the concept. A Firebrand stops at nothing to accomplish his or her goal. They see an obstacle and they overcome it, they encounter opportunity and they seize it. They laugh at high deductibles because they know how to manage and massage the insurance carrier. Patients get approved for care when the Firebrand is in charge. Do they get their hands dirty at times with questionable tactics? Maybe, but who cares because they win!

All this repetition of the same word over and over and over and over is exactly what it is like to work for Zoll. To all the outside readers, YES, management comes up with crackpot words and processes and defends them to the death, even while turnover goes up, sales go down, reimbursements go down, patients complain, doctors get pissed. This company specializes in listening to NO ONE, doing its own thing, and in the face of all evidence to the contrary. It is quite a spectacle. And lest you don't believe, just ask anyone who has worked here even for a month and you will see that it is this nuts. You can't conceive of such insanity, so I know it is easy to think this can't possibly be true. But if you work here, you will see it firsthand - even if in disbelief - that it is really out there. Over 25% vacancies in the sales force is not for nothing.

Amd then they go spend money to hire an outside consultant to fix the problem. How about using that money to pay the field?

Do you not trust in the strength and wisdom of the firebrand implementation? These men are serious and all have the strength and testicular fortitude to see this change through.

Not with the funny math calculation that will be interjected after thr consultants provide their input. Sales ops will certianly have their hand in this play. Things won't change until the marshall leftovers are gone.
