Was the guy in Florida CMF, SBO or both. I never met Larry Harvey but I'm sure he never had a chance nor will the next V.P. of Sales. OsteoMed quit being a sales organization years ago. There once was a time when territory managers were held in high regard. Those days are long gone.

LH got bashed here a lot but the guy stood his ground and finally had enough of the BS Walt was serving and left.

Reps may think he was against them but LH was never afraid to tell WH or PB what time it was when they tried to force something on the sales group.

When you are looking for your next job here's a tip.....call the company, not a difficult thing to do, and get the phone numbers of a few of their sales reps and give them a call rather than relying on this message board. hey, can you guys that actually work for Osteomed tell me how they are on expenses in general? What can be expensed, how quickly they reimburse etc?? thanks

Expenses are a joke...they go through final approval with the CEO (Walt). Do not expect to get reimbursed without a pseudo full body cavity search and don't expect within a couple weeks. There are a lot of folks that have had to float CCard bills a few months before receiving reimbursement. Personally, I was told I spent too much on lunch on a specific time with a surgeon because it was "unreasonable". The amount....just over $14 for 2 people, guess they wanted me to buy Burger King. In other words, if you are desperate for a job...you can take it. But otherwise, I would seriously consider other options. I will vouch that 99% of what is on THIS thread is true.

It is correct...$500 PRETAX. After it's said and done, you are getting roughly 300 or so. This is not a company that is known for it's "perks". The insurance sucks, the 401k only gets matched at the end of the year "IF" the company deems it necessary. Don't let them sell you on the possibility of the territory, you will never be backed on a corporate standpoint and your growth is limited at best with me too products. They missed their chance to sell off back in 2000 and have been playing catch up ever since. Very high turnover right now and for good reason, they don't care about reps.
