Don’t take this the wrong way but reality is Acumed is a shit hole. This place has been experiencing high turnover for years. Look at all the threads about JR, Jim Devine, SC, TVL, human resources. The actuality is Acumed is not going to change. The leadership could give 2 shits about what the pee ons think.
You seem smart, don’t let the culture at Acumed make you think you are not capable of finding a better job. There are countless people who used to work at Acumed that are now making more money with more respectable companies.
Acumed has a bad rep with temp agencies, the industry, and in the state of Oregon.

Acumed will not change, the threads and company’s reputation will only get worse. Your best bet is quit wishing and start looking out for yourself.

Yep,
You are absolutely right, this person sounds like they are so upset that they are no longer working for a company like Acumed. They are making more money with a company that doesn’t have multiple negative threads on Cafepharma, Ebosswatch, Glassdoor, and placement agencies. They are working at a place where every Thursday and Friday someone is not fired for whatever the pathetic reason the HR department has come up with that day.
Do you really think the person is crying and is mad that they don’t work at Acumed?

I am miserable since I no longer work at Acumed. I only wish I could still work at such a respectable company so that I could be like you. Biting my nails every week hoping I am not next on the list to be fired. Making shit paychecks. Guess all the people who ditched Acumed for companies like Nike, Intel, Tektronics and many other top companies in Oregon figured out they were “not as good as they thought and now mad” wish they could still have the luxurious experiences at Acumed.

Guess I will just cry my way to work tomorrow, hope you are not next on the HR Shit list.

No it's not as bad as these people make it out to be. There are some butt hurt folks that post on here and that's the sampling that you are seeing.

Don't buy into the hype. There is a lot of positive changes happening and good things yet to come.

First off, I like your choice of words. “Butt hurt” is hilarious .
It seems like the sampling is from people currently at Acumed, not previous employees. There are 2-3 postings that are obviously from former employees but majority appears to be coming from current.
The Massacre Friday and Countdown thread titles speaks for itself. For your sake I hope the changes yet to come are positive.
 






Not quite a massacre today but JR is gone now. If SC, DV, and TVL were let go, then things would hopefully begin to change. Too bad so many people were hurt before JR was let go.

They do- There is an actual list of people with dates of when to do it. They are purposely spacing it out as not to scare people. But if you think this new HR team wasn't picked to do the dirty work, your kidding yourself. Step 1 parent company gets rid of executive team, step 2 fire or push out all the existing HR, step 3 hire a very smart but ruthless hr team and start cutting head count. Just watch- I am certain this is not over. But of course this is all just theory......
