No more massacre friday?

Wow...there have been 16 employees terminated or re-org'd out of Acumed. 11 of them (69%) are female. I wonder how Eeoc would view this.

Make sure you go tell all the families of the men who were let go how terrible it is that Acumed fired more women than men. I am sure they will understand to your concerns on fair treatment around here.
Tonight when they are trying to figure out how the hell they are going to get through the holidays after loosing an income, knowing that Acumed fired more women than men will diminish their worries.

Are we going to start this battle of the sexes again? Would you feel better if 69% were men being let go?
If you can prove there is any type of discrimination then go ahead and report it to Eeoc.

Chances are HR has substantial reasoning and evidence that the people let go, whether male or female, are justified.
Fact of the matter is they are gone and Acumed doesn’t give a crap what genitalia you have.

Someone from the "old HR" team once told me that only 40% or some of Acumed employees are fems... so a 70% fire rate does seem high- and that doesn't sound like all the fems that left on their own are in that equation. I ain't the kinda guy to give an S about this stuff (Usually just a bunch of liberals belly aching). But even I am starting to think there might be an issue.

I am sure the courts will soon start deciding if there is an issue or not.

It's telling that people at Acumed can certainly say who they think should be sent packing but cannot identify those that have been added or are currently on board that are quality.

The question had been asked a few times now and there have been zero replies. I take it as there is no one that would be considered a franchise player?

Look at the names on the Hearts, Minds & Hands lists. Look for repeat recipients. I'm sure the majority there didn't ask for the recognition nor do they seek the spotlight. But this is the closest thing we've got to a peer-evaluation system.

If you don't recognize the initials, then you don't work at Acumed! Thank heavens that he and Huckleberry Hound are gone. Both created a terrible environment for field reps. Several outstanding people are gone because of the incompetence of JR and SC. This record of incompetence should follow them to any other employers.
