New GSK Diabetes Contract

If people turn down offers I wonder if they will go with one of the other 2 candidates even though they did not interview with RM. I would not think they would just start over. Im sure everyone that interviewed was well qualified.

Could go either way. On other contracts I have seen them be dissatisfied with all three candidates and pick a fresh batch. I have also seen them turn to the Number Two when the Top Choice declines.

Incorrect. I got my offer yesterday and I interviewed in LA. Have already filled out my employee personal details sheet and sent back to my manager to start my background check.

To provide more proof, I can tell you the start date is actually Sunday, June 1st. This is so that insurance can take effect on the first instead of the 15th which is what would have happened had they started us on the 2nd as originally planned. We are also getting a Chevy Equinox for fleet.

The manager offered the job to a number 2 candidate when I turned it down. I was way more qualified than the other candidate but manager was not willing to negotiate. Take it it leave it

That's o.k. because they are qualified, otherwise that wouldn't have been there and I'm sure they are so appreciative of the opportunity that they will work especially hard to prove themselves. Good for them!

Congratulations to those who have already received offers. Would someone please be able to clarify what the training dates are? I believe I heard it will be 4 weeks of virtual training in June, with a launch meeting at the end of July? What happens in-between those dates? Any information you have on the dates would be very helpful. Thank you.

Correct. Start date June 1, training at home in June, launch meeting toward end of July. The dates in between are still a little unclear. Even the launch meeting date isn't solid yet (which is why I didn't give it) and the GSK reps have not been given a date yet (I spoke with one of mine today). Maybe district meetings or launch planning (my personal thoughts)? Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Thankfully I don't have any vacation plans or anything, so it doesn't impact me greatly. Again, sorry I don't have more specific information, but I don't think they had much more info to give yet.

Have you never completed a job application?

Guys, calm down. Offers are coming. These things take time and interviews are still going on. No sense in challenging people. Yes, I do believe some people are fibbing, but I am sure some people (particularly those with specific details) are telling the truth. Congratulate them and hope for the same for yourself. There are many more offers to come.

Thank you for reaponding. I really appreciate it.

I was told you get 5 floating holidays on top of 18 days pto. It's not listed anywhere in the offer. Anyone know. Was offered less than recruiter said on salary, was a take it or leave it thing. Not a fan of bait and switch!
