New diabetes positions

In the Northeast sent my questionnaire back last week haven't heard anything. Has anyone had a phone interview or face to face yet? I have excellent diabetes experience!

I'm in the Northeast. Had a phone screen with the Recruiter on 6-5 and was told the DM wasn't in place yet, but they would get an offer soon. He sent me the Application packet and the background screen authorization which I completed same day. Haven't heard anything since. Waiting for a call to schedule a F2F. I also have excellent diabetes experience which is what the recruiter said they are looking for. I'm in the state of CT. Any additional updates this week on calls or F2F interviews taking place in the NE would be appreciated!

Don't think DM has been hired yet.

There have been some district realignments over the past week, so apparently the DMs for some of these positions are in flux. Also heard recruiters/DMs were given another week to get FTF interviews lined up.

I think they are referring to the Wyeth mafia that runs Publicis. There are many Wyeth's in upper management and they get hired first for management and rep jobs. Those of us that have worked with or for them do not like them or their little club because they are all the same - no talent whatsoever, back stabbers, liars and master manipulators. They go far here because their friends look out for them and because they are all ass kissing cheerleaders. Ask any of them a relevant business question that requires real industry knowledge. Ask them to sell you something. You'll get a good laugh. It is kind of sad because some very good people have been turned away from this company over the years in order to keep "The Wyeth's" around. The talent pool is extremely diluted because of these people. Everyone else has to carry their weight. They sound great on a conference call, though. And their beautiful cheerleading emails... sublime.
I completely agree. They cover each other's laziness. If you have the word "Wyeth" on your resume you will be hired for any upper managment position. The really stupid ones they'll give you the DM job for an easy territory.

Please clarify - how can you subtract your car allowance from your taxes? Do you know what line item this would go under? Just calculating $600 x 12 months equals $7200, which would be a nice deduction, but what category of deduction does it get placed under?

Here's how the tax deduction goes:
Say you drive 20,000 miles, and the govnt reimbursement is .56/mile. You take .56-.36 and get .20. Multiply that by 20,000 = $4000. Now take that $4000 and subtract whatever they've paid you for the car ($500 x 12 months = $6000). You are now in a deficit, so you cannot write off anything. Only way you can write anything off is if that is a positive number.
I was on a contract before where they paid $500/mnth plus only .19/mile. That came out to a write off of $1400 after the 20,000 mile calculation. Of course, people will drive more or less than that - but the write-off only benefits you if you drive A LOT.

Well....there really is no benefit to putting a ton of miles on your own automobile. It's costly to you.

I'm surprised you even know how to type, because your math skills are about as good as tebow's throwing skills.
Wow

Ok r*****, let's try to slow this down for you. The govn't allows you to write off .56/mile. If you drive 20,000 miles, that's $11,200 (.56 x 20,000).
Now, you can only write off that amount subtracted by what the company has already reimbursed you for the car. So take that 20,000 and multiply it by the .36/mile that they've paid you = $7200. Also add in the $500/mnth times 12 months = $6000.
So your possible write off is $11,200 - $7200 - $6000 = negative $2000 (you don't get a write off).
Basically they are paying you for the depreciation and expenses for your car in their .36/mile plus $500/mnth.
Some companies pay out a lot lower amount...like .19/mile...which only really covers the gas. The write off then covers some depreciation if you drive A LOT.

Hope the dumbed down version helped you out moron. Pretty sure Tebow kept up the first time around - he passed 4th grade.
