New diabetes positions

Former Publicis rep here, I have over 10 yrs in pharma with an excellent sales record but no diabetes and I haven't been moved forward yet either- was contacted initially by recruiter but have not heard anything else yet. One of two possibilities: manager is it in place yet or I'm out due to lack of diabetes

I am in the same position as you. former publicis rep...10 plus yrs pharma...I got called initially and have not heard back. Im curious if any managers in place do not have pharma experience and im curious as to why this is a requirement...if it is...because I know people on this contract who are shifting over to the diabetes products and don't have diabetes experience....so why is it required of us?

There are good jobs outside of pharma. Don't be afraid to get out. Take that first step. Do it for yourself. Ask yourself, why am I hanging on to such an empty shell of a job? There is no future in pharma, you are not appreciated for your 10 plus years of dedication and contributions, and you've been reduced to driving around mindlessly as a caterer and sample dropper. The energy in pharma is negative, conflict based, and the people lack professionalism and pride in what they do. I was not impressed with many of the people I worked with on the last Publicis contract. I'm much better than that and so are you...

Has anybody in the southeast been moved forward? I was told that I would be moving forward but have not heard back. Guess I am out.

I am in SE. I was told on Friday of last week that I would have a phone screen this week with the dm then f2f would follow next week with the final few candidates. I also was sent the background checks last week to submit. I don't have diabetes exp. but do have 7 years of pharma.

has anyone heard any new info on moving forward and if all managers are in place in all areas by today? I am a former rep..no diabetes exp...and getting concerned I wont be moving forward.

So....is your phone screen scheduled yet for this week?

Join the crowd- there are many of us in the same boat according to the previous posts. There was a post however indicating that there are still some managers to be given offers this week, therefore, possible to hear something later in the week. I am a former rep as well without diabetes, however was told from initial recruiter screen that diabetes experience was not mandatory.

Are Wyeth people in charge in so calif. this isn't fair. They hired all buddies on Pfizer contract. It was so obvious. So many great candidates were turned away. I was on publicis contract with Crestor and am trying to get back in. I also have diabetes exp. if all wyeth buddies are hired back in, it isn't fair too the others. Who is so cal rsm or dm? Any info would help.

I received an email this morning that said she just wanted to keep me in the know but that my phone screen with dm would be this week then f2f for final candidates would still be next week. She asked if I had any times this week/next week that I would be unavailable.

Obviously by other poster (with the f'ing interview), someone interviewed today. :) Possibly in the SE?

I have not heard a thing! I sent the questionairre back to the recruiter and have not received a call. I have diabetes experience and ad located in Central Illinois. Anyone from central Illinois heard from recruiter?

I am in Peoria and received an offer yesterday. Very low salary but I accepted and I will continue to look for better.
