Calm downWhat week did you interview?
Congratulations to those that got offers and those who will soon. Now that the drug is approved is anyone surprised that this medication may very well end up being classified as a controlled substance and patients won't be able to drive for 8 hours after taking? I didn't see that in any of the studies. With so many other options in a crowded space and 2 more preventives coming to market at the same time does this effect your mindset or decision?

Congratulations! You won the Pharma lottery. With your high base salary and role status, you're in the top 10% of all pharma reps, currently. The downward trend in the industry (e.g., hiring those with less than 5 years experience, even for many specialty positions, and paying much lower base salaries, often with mediocre comp plans) means that most won't come close to your level of compensation. Enjoy it while it lasts!I interviewed in Dallas and received my verbal offer late yesterday afternoon by HR and then I was instructed to go to my Lilly account to download my written offer. My base offered is $118k.
Before I spoke with HR, the hiring manager called and in so many words said that I was their first choice candidate and they wanted to make an offer and that HR would call with it shortly and they called within 15-20 mins.
My interview seemed a little rushed but I only got 2 STAR type of questions but overall it was mostly conversational.
Warnings and Precautions
Driving Impairment
Reyvow may cause significant driving impairment. In a driving study, administration of single 50 mg, 100 mg, or 200 mg doses of Reyvow significantly impaired subjects' ability to drive. Additionally, more sleepiness was reported at 8 hours compared to placebo. Advise patients not to engage in potentially hazardous activities requiring complete mental alertness, such as driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery, for at least 8 hours after each dose of Reyvow. Patients who cannot follow this advice should not take Reyvow. Prescribers and patients should be aware that patients may not be able to assess their own driving competence and the degree of impairment caused by Reyvow.
That’s fair. However have u ever been told don’t worry about the second product in your bag, that you are responsible for launching? Oh yeah to PC/IM with that baggage? Me either and never will.......
no if course not but Im just saying it should affect someone wanting the job or not. If it was just selling this product maybe
