I agree. You deserve it, you earned it. If we could only encourage the whole sale team to take up your cause and put this company out of its misery.
 






Heading out to Christmas shop today. I love being able to shop during the week and avoid that weekend crowd. I'm gonna meet a long time friend who happens to be one of my doctors for lunch at a local Bistro. I will have the owner of the bistro enter give me a "delivery" receipt so Merck will be paying for it. I'm sure some spirits will also be hidden in the bill as well!

I LOVE this gig and I don't think that my manager gives a damn anymore either! He "checked out" months ago and is just going thru the motions of a manager. As long as the district covers for him with the director, he is fine with us. My numbers have been great all year while putting in 4 day work weeks of a couple hours a day. I will exceed target and make bonus. Why work 40+ hours per week when you can get it all done by working 8-10?

Having a CTL who has "checked out" makes all the difference. If you had one of our scary female CTL's that looks for opportunities to get you, it would not be so fun for you.

Better pray that your CTL doesn't decide to call your bluff. Maybe he would suspicious of a big RFM scheduled for today, and decide to call that Doc's office to verify that you really did one today.

Unauthorized use of company funds + fake Dr/Staff sign in sheet = Do Not Pass Go or Collect $200. Go directly to HR, get your pink slip and repay the company back for your personal holiday feast.

Naw, ctl's are stupid and weak
 


















Ah, it's the last Monday of 2013 and to celebrate I'm gonna not work and Merck will once again buy lunch for me and my three golf buddies at the club. If it warms up a little we will hit some balls followed by a round of cocktails. 2013 was a great year! Looking forward to more of it in 2014!

I remember years ago a RD that used to check my hands looking for calluses to try to see how much golf I played. You may applaud yourself that " you're putting one over" but no one is that smart. No, the only reason is they are no longer looking, they don't care because they know everyone will soon be gone anyway.
