Too funny! So the trailer trash complains, the cerebral respond, and the dude who gets it nails it with a summary that will send the Merckies into a tailspin 'cause they excel but don't always work 24 hours, but sometimes more. Priceless!!!
 






I love this job and I work hard and put in all that they ask . My only complaint is the Merck counter parts work the same houris do but make double, get a car, full benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days, retirement. I say they should throw in a few of those to us..any agree?

We were told by our manager, during our webex meeting, that our day starts at our first call and that travel to and from storage is not included. My whole district can attest to this! We were also encouraged to do emails and other admin stuff during our lunch time. I am in my doctors office at 9 am so that I can show/account for my whereabouts! That's what the big deal is! I wish people would stop this sh_t. Now my DM is showing me reports that have me starting at 11 or later everyday.
SO WHAT. I am Always on the top of the district, I make 8/9 calls per day. The losers on here are makig it difficult for us that just want to do the job abd deliver the results Merck is looking for.

So what?!? Here's what: there are basically two things Merck is looking for... First are the sales results. Looks like you got that down. Second, Merck is looking for, or more accurately, EXPECTS you to get that first sig at 9am just like everyone else working for or on behalf of Merck. Ok? Got that?

Only difference here is Merck people work the same as us and get double and car and full benefits plus promo Budget

Oh, Merck wants sales results? Who would know! That's way down on the priority list, isn't it? As for when I get my first "sig" if you want to fire me for leveraging my "customer centric" relationships on my time, one of whom is laughing his ass off right now as I type this, he made me say that, why don't you corporate folk make a chart or something and push down another extremely urgent email. Got that? you narrow minded excel focused overhead? DO YOU GET THAT I DO NOT NEED YOUR JOB AND THAT YOU ARE A DRAIN ON RESOURCES AND ENERGY? I hope so, because you not getting it is getting pretty irritating to those of us who do. Got that?

There are always expectations for any job and the ones we have now are the same as always. Sales results are not the first priority of Merck. The first priority is ethics, including work ethic. Starting after 11 every day would never fly anywhere. I also like the new data. I think everyone should chill out and work.
