Layoffs?

I never heard reps would have to interview. I heard that they could have the opportunity to interview for the Territory Leader position. There is a call on the 27th to discuss all of this.

I thought I heard Kip say reps would be assessed, interview then placed. DM's find out in next two weeks and we find out after that. Sales directors are chosen then they pick their DM's who pick their teams. I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors to the grammar police......

Did anyone else hear that reps will know by two weeks?
It seems that was the timeline and nov
was just when it would be implemented.

within 30 days the regionals and DMs will be decided. After that, the reps will be placed into roles. Reps will not be interviewing for jobs except for those who apply for the new Territory Lead role. The reps will be placed in October and begin training in November.

Actually. A bit of a run-on sentence, but not too bad. Don't be afraid of the comma my friend. Be good.

Do the dms know anything about how the territory lines
will be drawn. It seems as though they will have to totally
redraw territory lines to incorporate all of the different sales
forces.

Yes. It sounds like dms and rds will have alot of input as to what reps are placed
The questions is how many positions of course there will be and what size the territories are.

I already know my manager hates my guts so I can't wait to see where this person places me.

I thought all 3 positions were on equal footing - that's what was shown on the slides. I don't remember anyone saying only the team leader would interview. Does anyone remember differently?

The territory leader position will have additional comp and during the Q and A kip said reps interested will have the opportunity to apply and interview for that role

I know we are all smart people, but I don't think we realize or appriciate how big of a task it is to take a company/companies and literally turn it on its head, continue to be a market leader and maintain morale - there will be a lot of "learn as you go"

Hang in there though - change is not always bad, just different.

Seems like I remember they will be selecting DM's Sept-Oct and sales reps Oct-nov. Does anyone remember anything differently? Also, was there any mention of the number of DM's being decreased? I'm just wondering what their divisions will look like going forward.

I wonder what the interview process for Territory leader will be like?

I remember them saying they wouldn't release any headcount numbers until they have had the chance to speak to the reps being let go- that they owed it to them to speak to them offline. Still sounds to me like there will be significant numbers of people let go.

I also heard something about this happening by August 27th. I hope that's the case. I'm all for change- I'm all against limbo.

I remember something like that to but I think they were talking about not releasing numbers until the DMs that were being let go were notified. Reps definitely won't know anying by August 27th as by that point they will still be in the process of placing DMs and Regionals. Reps aren't even being discussed until the new DMs are in place. They are the ones who will decide which reps go where. The 27th date that you are thinking of is sales rep only call with Kip and HR where they will go over specifics regarding how reps be selected for what roles, and how the interview process will go for the territory leader role.
