Did you hear her on the phone, yelling at her kid yesterday? The door to her office was closed but you could hear her screaming at him throughout the lab. One time she was yelling so loud she could have ruptured a blood vessel. Strange.
 






Labcorp is really going to shut down Monrovia, ther is an obligation to the patients and the techs .

We heard that the meeting was more like a kangaroo court. The tech was completely caught off guard. When sk told obvious lies and no one corrected her, just made excuses for her, she knew that the fix was in. Heard that Sk said that when she went through orientation for supervisor with former Westcliff HR Manager, J. Sweeney, he told her to be conservative when evaluating employees.

LOL First of all, she does not know the difference between the bi-annual employee report approving the cytotech's daily slide limits and HR's Annual Employee Performance Appraisal for raises? She says that Sweeney told her to be conservative on a six months slide limit report??? I DON"T THINK SO. The last time the techs got an annual employee performance evaluation was 4 years ago when they got our last raise. Any they can thank Sylvia Calderon for that.

If it was that easy for her to get away with an obvious lie, no wonder they are so easily manipulated and we all got crappy reviews. Like the previous posts said, sk does not represent us.

There are 2 reasons that you all got fked up reviews. First, SK saves her praises for flattering and ass kissing management and anyone else she wants to manipulate.Throwing praises away on you would not only be a waste, but create a worthy adversary competitor.. Second, a great review might mean an opportunity for you to advance. She is too paranoid, envious and insecure to take part in that. She has to show you whose boss.

I have been reading this thread and what really sticks out is pretty obvious. LCA does not have a competent HR department. Now that might be by design, and work for you in the short term, but eventually the chickens will come home to roost. Looks like they already have. LCA, get yourself some competent Human Resources people skilled in Human Relations. It will end up costing you much less in every way. Wake up. This kind of stuff should not be happening in the workplace.

I think this is not a sales rep but SK the WONDER TECH!! This sounds strangely similar to her attitude in employee meetings. Way to inspire your people you little twit!!!

You mean R. Sweeney for Robert. Did you catch that meeting we had recently when his name was mentioned as if he was still with LabWest. He quit a year ago. Do they really think we didn't know that LabCorp shipped the work from Santa Ana to San Diego and Riffed all of the employees there? What is wrong with these people? How difficult would it be just to be down to earth honest, for once. Is that too much to ask for?
