Yes very frustrating now as for too long we have RCLs that don’t give any support. I don’t think it’s because they don’t want to but it more about they don’t know how to and have no knowledge. When will enough be enough

Jason Herring could come to a market and support each franchise. We now have RCLs that do not even know their own disease area and do nothing but pass global emails and ask for number to support their own profile with bosses. Useless

please someone name one good regional marketing lead ??? Please???

Agree! Jason and some of his RCL's were really good and helpful.

Agree with most of what you said but for one thing. One of your own, a good for nothing, big time sucker of senior leadership, who in spite of failing miserably as BUD in Taiwan got rewarded with a MD job. We hear that no one in Aus wanted him back and same with a few others who eventually left the company.
Noora is a joke and ain’t worth wasting words and the news is that she is already playing her tricks with David and he has apparently fallen for it.

"We hear that no one in Aus wanted him back and same with a few others who eventually left the company." - may be true of GS but others not sure. Aus looks after its own.

really? What about Jason Herring? He is better than most so why was he not made MD Aus? He is such a great man and leader and instead we suffer from these shallow MDs.

mad lost many Australian talents and many others and now left with the suck ups.

noora why don’t you do a review of your time with Dorthe? Face the fact that you are a yes woman and care only for people you think will help your career - very good message from the head of HR. Joke, total joke with her naked cat

Quiz. Best Two MDs/Worst Two MDs
Best Two regional/ Worst Two

Best MDs
1. Taiwan/ Hong Kong
Worst MDs
2. Korea/ Singapore

Best regional
1. Heather/ Yves
Worst Region
2. Hyunji/ Noora

Getting really annoyed with this region now. Last few months we lost more and more of the real talent that actually were leading their markets from a culture creation perspective and business results. But they had to leave as they are not recognised or appreciated while other useless staff get the rewards.

We just lost Esther and before her, many others and we had vacancies for these people to move into but they were not supported at all. They all move to the rival companies in greater roles and afforded respect from the outset.

Noora/HR - who are your talent? Are they actually respected by the rest of the org, or are they just expert at managing up and making you feel great? Do your job and stop the bleed of real talent and how about make a real attempt and creating a vibrant culture again- you are not worthy of this company!!

Dude, no point venting your frustration here. We all agree and empathise. Spread the word to senior leaders in global anonymously, post them here and copy David. He will act only when he realises his own position is in jeopardy.

Seriously, we have lost good people especially oncology side recently. Really miss the good ones. Left with headless chicken across which surfaced up after the good ones left. I don’t need a regional team to support me at all. No value add. Just cascade information that doesn’t translate what it means to the markets. Need to change heads ….please someone who really knows AP markets.

George Stylianou?? Anyone please share me how he is MD? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?

Noora Can you share?? What he did in Taiwan? He was laughed at totally and even the Access people had to lead the business. He is just a poor talker no brains. Stay sales manager please. This company is funny.

You clearly need to learn to play the politics - see how it's done above?

Nice one! "Spread the word to senior leaders in global anonymously, " .... and just how does one do this, anonymously, in a company? Senior leaders do not read cafe pharma!

Very painful day. Pressure on number again with our BU holding up the country. Very clear they want to reduce numbers on the other teams and I see this theme across the region but they are happy to push our side as always. Any help from regional team to achieve our numbers?? No don’t be idiot. Mr Herald do you want to do something?

Don’t have too high hopes. The regional onco function heads are clueless with standard responses “we are here to help you” but no concrete understanding. lip services. Lost people who know and helpful to markets but never moved up just because no competency in lip services?

Two more great talented and hard working people leave at the end of this month. I heard two more next month are close to quit. Do they leave because their boss or the company culture? I think mix of both.

When promotions are based on networks, who you know and not on merits or the real experience, the good and competent ones are easily recognised and snatched by external. Those good ones who left recently are good examples.

No experience with David P. This group seems to view him positively. Will reserve opinions until outcome is clear.

Korean invasion in the region now, still much better to have people with AP experience. Let’s see if there are results.
What is considered a good outcome anyway for RMLs? Do they have growth targets or all targets are passed on to markets? Agree Michelle Tan is great - a huge loss for us. Esther is great for a small business but she hasn’t done vaccines or oncology before. Churn usually means regional restructuring is coming, or these people don’t like their bosses.

Vincent Tong is good. Think he deserves a bigger market and more recognition for his leadership
So enjoyable working alongside him. I know we have challenges with many thing in the region but there are good things also, even if small.
He always is looking for ways to build culture and celebrates success. Rest of them should maybe take a leaves from his book.

I agree with the comments on Noora. She is truly useless
