Janssen has always fostered a corporate culture of backstabbers. Matter of fact, Managers love playing their representatives against each other and get great satisfaction out of gathering information on ride days about individuals on their team. However, colleagues who have integrity share their ride days and discussions. In order to change this corporate culture Managers should have to go through a psychological evaluation before managing people. Unfortunately, some managers can not handle all the power and create unnecessary stressful environments. This job is not rocket science the intensity is not warranted. People are so concerned with perception they will eat their young to get ahead.
Managers should foster trust, appreciation, and value their employees on their team. Moreover, realize that everyone brings value collectively as a team and individually. Perhaps, this would put an end to the backstabbers if people felt safe and honored for their contribution to the organization. The climate fosters - you’re so lucky to have this job - you’re lucky to have me as an employee!!
