I actually think there is a decent chance of approval, but I am not on the commercial side. Lifi addresses umet clinical need in checkpoint refractory melanoma, and patients need new options. The only holdup was potency assay and that has been addressed. Commercial needs to get their act together for Dec23 launch.

Thanks for waying in “from the non commercial side”but that is a complete dream. The next 2 mths will determine the truth. Better sell that stock now.

Not too many risk takers, but upon approval there will be dozens lined up.

interesting theory. With all the talent that continues to resign - in the last few weeks was it 5 or 6 from commercial? Commercial is only 25 people. The turnover rate is horrific on the commercial side. But you rats stay on the ship.

I would resign too if I was on the commercial team. There is nothing to sell, and there won't be anything to sell until approval, which is probably December best case scenario. And further, it's not like the iPhone release where people will be line up around the block for Lifi. The ramp will be slow and only really desperate patients who want to undergo another surgery, lymphodepletion and HD IL-2 will get the therapy. Each patient is going to have to get approved by insurance, and nobody knows what the price will be yet. It's a long grind to bring a life-saving therapy to market, and I would only begin the commercial ramp once approval is imminent. Else, the company is burning cash. I bet commercial makes on average 200k/year, so a huge cash burn when there is nothing to sell.

The commercial team is a complete disaster. Almost 100% turnover- which is directly related to the leader of the commercial organization. This leader could mess up the sell of Viagra during its first days to market.

Why does everyone despise JZ so much? He gives rousing speeches and has done good things like get CAR-T reimbursement equivalence for TIL. He is one of the better leaders IMHO.

The only thing he is responsible for is a horrible toxic culture. There is a reason everyone on the commercial team leaves after 9-12 months. And FYI it is not because no one has a stomach for biotech. It is because no one wants to tolerate the poor leadership. ( poor is being generous)

Who the hell is going to pay for this? Seems like there are issues with reimbursement for cell therapies

A bad leader can take a good staff and destroy it causing the best employees to feel and all remainder to lose motivation. Since the turnover in commercial is ~72% what does say about little Jimbo? If this product is going to come to market he needs to be removed from the commercial team. While you’re at it take the head of quality too! She is horrific.

yes, she is awful. But she is on the Ziegler friend and family plan. He tends to like the ones that lack knowledge and will agree to all his nonsense. Those that disagree magically disappear- must be the leprechaun effect
