It's a crappy economy and the industry is all screwed up. Do yourselves a favor and stop blaiming everyone else for your misfortunes and step up and make a difference in your own life. You can't rely on anyone in this industry and loyalty doesn't exist anymore. No one owes you anything. All you whiners who think you are entitled to something for nothing makes me sick.

In your dreams ass..... I left inventiv months ago and am working in healthcare outside
of pharma...I still log on to the site because I want to see the day that recruiting gets
what is coming to them for what they did to the loyal Inventiv Veteran reps that built this company. I am truly happy for the first time in years. I love my new job. I work
with professionals and I am treated like a valuable member of their team. Oh and
I got a ten thousand dollar raise, with 40,000 a year in bonus potential, 4 weeks vacation,
company match and better benefits coming in the door. So screw you.
Getting away from Inventiv has been a blessing. Asses like you always find slimey
jobs working for other slimes. Aren't you the greatest. NOT.

To the girl with the attorney...read all of Inventiv recruiters are the worst...I do apologize
for some of the postings...yet there is alot of truth in others....go...go...go...an army starts

WOW....I was going to reply to a Ventiv ad for an oncology rep. Knowing that CP was a lot of negativity I was taking it all in stride but THIS is over the top. I think I will pass. Who needs a job or a headache like that!!!

Nope: they have big Pharma resumes now, so they dont need the loyal reps that been here for 5+ years. I guess the BI fiasco hasn't taught them a lesson. Hire big Pharma reps and thr they leave as soon as they find a 'better' job. BI smarten up by placing reps on their payroll to minimize turnover.

the cephalon reps who just got thier pink slips now can't interview until the contract is 'officially' over. Any new jobs will be filled by then

Recruiters, regardless of company, work for that company and are not a headhunter for you...way to many reps laid off for them to get all touch feely about your situation...they have their orders about who to hire from client company, hiring DM (they already know dozen laid off reps)...their in box is already clogged with reps begging...time to move on or find some one who will tell the recruiter to hiire you.

I agree, what he said wasn't "nice", but isn't it correct? I didn't get to transfer over to BI in the recent transition that they conducted, so I'm upset. Nevertheless, working contract sucks. I have no respect for my BI DM and am actively looking for other employment.

rude ,snotty response may have been a bit harsh but remains true..See Pfizer layoffs happening now..how many of those freshly laidoff have tracked down the inVentiv recruiter and left voicemails, email,snail mail, linkedin, tweeted etc...that they are now available.

Find the hiring mgr. and get them to tell the inventiv recrtr to hire you

Tracking down the hiring manager is not an easy task...I had one that had to fight like hell to get me on a contract and I had been with the companies for over 10 years...over 35 can't wear a mini-skirt...he put his job on the line...he was near retirement....contract ended...I have not even received an interview since....no discrimination here...

inVentiv recruiting appears to focus on the upstream side of potential new hires while not looking at the recently flushed reps on the last contract...Don't plan on them calling you soon after your contract goes down.
