InVentiv recruiters are the WORST

I have found the recruiters to be incompetent in their communication abilities and professionalism. There is no accountability and seemingly indifference in their attitudes.I have found good ones but a lot of bums!!!!

Much like yourself, I have had the opportunity to speak with some fantastic ones. However, this company is by far the worst ever. The recruiters lack any fundamental professionalism. I would encourage everyone that has had a bad experience to report it, or at least pass it along. I spoke with a Novartis manager about one recruiter in particular, not sure if it will change anything, but at least I made the effort. Good luck to everyone job hunting but please do not put much faith in this company.

The recruiters, much like HR, are not there to protect, coddle nor show favoritism to any displaced employee. They are incentivized to hire NON- Inventiv people (those whom have never worked for the company in the past). For a specialty contract (cardiovascular, GI,etc) they earn more money by recruiting and recommending in this order:

(1) NON former employee with specific specialty experience

(2) Former employee with specific specialty experiece (must have average above 95 on prior training tests)

(3) NON former employee but with some pharma experience

(4) Former employees with specific specialty experience (average between 85 to 95 on prior training tests)

(5) NON former employee with strong business to business sales

(6) Former employee who has been displaced within last six months to one year (ranked according to how each scored on prior training tests and work withs)

The recruiter is paid on a tiered basis. Getting a #1 means more money for them than getting a 2, 2 is worth more than 3, etc.

If you come from the BMS contract and a new contract is not therapeutically equal, you are the 6th choice for the position unless you have experience selling in the new contract's therapeutic area.

Whoever wrote this obviously has no idea what they are talking about - I can assure you that the recruiters do not get paid different amounts for different types of candidates - they get a percentage off all fees - they do not care where the person comes from - they just want to fill the job with the candidates that most closely match what their client ask them for with their hiring criteria. My advice is to focus on being the best candidate for the job instead of whining about everything else that is "wrong" in the world.

As a recruiter, I can say that the original post is a lot closer to the truth than what you realize. The percentage of all fees disappeared about 2005.

True, please do not expect a great deal from InVentive recruiters. They are not only the worst in the industry but the worst period.

This is just lovely...sums it up...does the Ceo have a copy of this...put his email address on
the site I'll send it to him...That way he can't state he didn't know what was going on...
I have nothing to lose...

Barbara Cutts....I can't believe the amount of posts on this pathetic bitch. I thought it was just me. About four years ago this idiot contacted me about a position. She was a complete unprofessional total bitch. About one year later here we go again, I get a call from Barbara the bitch; again same snotty ass attitude and behavior. THEY SHOULD FIRE THIS BITCH! I will never apply to this company again unless I can deal directly with a hiring manager. I'd love to know what this bitch looks like? Is she screwing someone? What is it?

To bad looks are not based on personality.....if they were she would be the ugliest, nastiest, foul, rotten, disease ridden, repulsive individual on the planet. Unfortunately when people consider her for employment they cannot see the dispicable
person that is underneath. Rottenness always rears its ugly head eventually and everyone has to answer for what they do.

A recruiter...interesting...since the recruiting dept claims there is absolutely no validity
to our site yet you are trolling it and adding comments....If there are people on the site
with no credibility then I believe that those individuals are recruiters just like you...Inventiv
recruiters are spineless liars with no hearts. I say you get on the site to spy....Just in case
you haven't picked it up while reading...no one has any respect for you, your department
and inventiv. Your department has a large part of responsibility for destroying a great
company. Get off of our site and send a loyal inventiv employee to work...I know that
will be hard for you considering that you have no concept of what the word loyal means. Worst of luck to you because that is what you passed on to many others that deserved better.

At least the recruiters are still employed and employable. Quite unlike the situation you find yourself in, huh? Denny's needs some servers, but I think you'd probably do best at a truck stop. Here's some practice for you: "Bring me my food you toothless hag".

Go cry someplace else. Shame you can't even be a has-been because you'll always be a never-was.

Send a loyal Ventiv employee to work? Seems a bit contradictory and mutually exclusive terminology.

Were you referring to chasing sigs and drinking coffee between texting?

and your screwed even worse if you were a good performing manager with Ventiv. they pass you off to another recruiter who specializes in placing managers, You never hear back from these numbnuts! I assume they place outside managers first because again they get more money!

In your dreams ass..... I left inventiv months ago and am working in healthcare outside
of pharma...I still log on to the site because I want to see the day that recruiting gets
what is coming to them for what they did to the loyal Inventiv Veteran reps that built this company. I am truly happy for the first time in years. I love my new job. I work
with professionals and I am treated like a valuable member of their team. Oh and
I got a ten thousand dollar raise, with 40,000 a year in bonus potential, 4 weeks vacation,
company match and better benefits coming in the door. So screw you.
Getting away from Inventiv has been a blessing. Asses like you always find slimey
jobs working for other slimes. Aren't you the greatest. NOT.
