Were you ever a rep or just never had to drive more than a few miles?
Also we have to pay $125/month to drive what we are told to drive. If too cheap to do car allowance, give us opportunity to pay an extra $100 or so for something better.

I agree, outside of pay, manager quality, and quality of the drug I promote I can't think of anything that effects my day to day quality of life more than the vehicle I spend 40+ hours a week in.

Many specialty companies have great offerings these days. Even the ones cheaping out, most offer the reps the ability to pay for upgrades now.

I'll bet you're a great rep. Hopefully you don't get an offer but if you already did, I'm sure you will be fired fairly quickly. Such a kid!

Hey dumbass- It’s much cheaper for them to so the car allowance. Have some knowledge about what you are bitching about.
 








Field sales group, none of this matters now, obviously we have major challenges ahead of us and the PE/HF/PF that all bailed based on the commercial capability report as part of competitive personnel intelligence is irrelevant now. SM handed it to a few folks up here, who passed it on to GR, he did the right thing with a message of support on linkedin to his team and they will work through the people that have to go. The share price reacted to the those big exits, but in the coming months we can make progress just as we talked about and move it forward. The bogus recruiting firm is receiving a significant rate cut, while the director still here, managers, and reps that intentionally utilized misinformation about themselves or other candidates to get in or to get "their" people in is being addressed. One director gone is the start of addressing those fraudulent resumes and fiction through false networking with the rest to come ahead of launch, which is why a separate firm was hired to reconstruct the verification process. For those of that fall into this group, just resign and get out because your fraudulent manipulation has been identified.
Some people were hired after being pushed through by managers who ignored the basic job requirements.
 








This company is Forest labs all over. I know of one who didn’t even have to interview at all. Just got a call from hiring manager with an offer (I knew of people interviewing for the same position). I bailed once I found out hiring manager and took a look at results of drug. Forest Leadership = forest bonus = shitty. At goal it’ll be under 10k a qtr mark my word. As for 140k keep dreaming. Maybe 115-120k if lucky

Hate to say it but psychiatry is the equivalent of primary care these days. Long gone are the days of being specialist. Get your samples and drop a ton off and grab those signatures. metrics will be 80 % sample ratio to your 10 calls per day. Again it’s forest leadership all over. I would run far far away Company won’t be around in a few years

Where you ARE correct is the incredibly poor quality of manager you get from Forest. Ego based and fear driven. I’m not sure which one you are referencing but I know the one hiring for the area near me had several candidates bail and just now hired for the spot that’s been open from the beginning
If fear based selling is your bag this is your place. Whether you hit goal or not will be irrelevant to these managers.

Can’t speak to the Forest issues, but the other topic is very true. Spoken with very tenured and qualified (in my opinion) colleagues and peers in several areas of the country that at one time were interested in ITCI and lumateperone until they saw not only the management team but the field being hired. The staggering, in some cases, lack of psychiatric experience caused most of them to bail.
No ill-will or bad wishes for ITCI. Hope it goes well. 6 months after launch you’ll have your answer; everything is fine and on target or the big-pharma playbook gets pulled out.

You are absolutely right about some posters here but there are surely plenty of people that turned down IC's offer because the position wasn't what they were sold it would be as they entered the process. If anyone I know is posting here they are simply annoyed IC wasted their time.

or just passing along information. To accuse others as you have indicates a sense of insecurity which seems about par for the course. I wish no one any ill will. But for those who are unaware of what they are walking into

HR needs to investigate John Deegan. I feel bad for the reps who are going to work for him. At first he will be all nice and “team player” until you don’t do what he thinks is the best, if you have an idea of your own ( especially if it makes him look stupid for not thinking of it first) , numbers aren’t skyrocketing in the first quarter of sales, you have an office you don’t mesh well with ( then comes the verbal assaults from him telling you , you suck as a rep and dont know how to build relationships) and the list goes on and on ....
