Interviewing with Esperion with cardiology background

Just look at the calls on lIlly from a couple years ago if you wanna back test. Watch the volume watch the buyers and don’t be surprised by some outside moves, once this thing gets going you won’t have time to catch up..
Does Esperion have an amazing weight loss drug in the pipeline? I don’t think so

Noone’s buying it that your “manager” has inside knowledge. You’re accusing insider trading. You DO know that journalists, watchdog organizations and feds frequent these boards, right?

Many more people in the analyst community see this thing going .full boar.. My manager has an inside track on certain things, let’s just say she’s very well-connected and it’s usually about six months ahead of reality.. I know she’s been buying a lot of shares and she believes she’s pretty well set up for the next 6 to 12 months. It’s hard to argue with success
I’ll take Things That Never Happened for $1000, Alex

INSIDER TRADING ALERT!

INVESTIGATE THIS COMPANY!!

My manager is telling me that there are going to be more positions open later this year, whether it’s classified as an expansion or not remains to be seen, but the reality is business needs dictate more hands on deck, that’s a good thing. There is a lot more financial stability now than there was say a year ago, and with the label expansion, the positive date from overseas, and our financial restructuring you can’t help but to see some pretty solid light at the end of this tunnel. I’m on board for a turn or two.
You take financial advice from a chick stuck in middle management at a subpar drug company??

Esperion is hiring again. The top reps have left within a few months. Why is this? How is the product? Or products? I always see the samples in offices not being sampled. Why? The CLEAR outcomes seem okay? My main concern is the company is burning through a lot of cash. For such a small company. Should I apply?
You already answered your own question. This is a dumpster fire. The current crop of reps are substandard who've been shown the door from other pharma companies.

It’s a good time to come on board now with outcomes data, greatly expanded managed care coverage, patent clarity and a financial positioning that allows for profitable operations in the near term. A lot of people are going to make a lot of money in the coming years. People also have their eyesight on a merger possibly being in play, clearly the company has been working on positioning themselves to win over the long haul. If you can find a better opportunity then take it.

What people? Who has their eye on a merger? Can you name names?

I’m looking at an opportunity right now, my only real concern in coming on board is the possibility of a buyout and then subsequent layoff. Does anyone have any insight on what the severance package would look like in this event? I’m just not comfortable asking this question as the interview process moves forward.

Wasn’t that like five years ago? I’m looking for insight for the here and now, not ancient history. Seems like M&A activities is gonna be picking up quite a bit next year, I’m just a little concerned that ESPR is on the radar, and I’m not going back to Merck.

The culture was established 5 years ago. Only you can do your own research. Facts.
The crystal ball, future projections isn’t.
Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback, I just connected some dots and found out a former colleague friend of a friend is working for the company. They are apparently pretty satisfied, I’m reaching out to hear how things are looking and to answer a few questions.
Well aren't you special. You sound like a great hire you buffoon. Christ where do they find these idiots.

The incompetence level at Esperion is on another level. This management team took a company with a $70.00 per share value to the $2.00 range. This was a botched launch and the revolving door of management lackeys has been the downfall. The year end report will be alarming.

It’s funny what I’ve seen is so opposite, the folks on board now really do have a jaundice eye towards the original founders, and the future really is bright with current management on board. Executive leadership has done an excellent job of restructuring, the financial underpinnings of the company, and sales management is fixed focused with the eye on the prize. All the incentives are in place to drive stellar performance in ‘25, it’s going to be an interesting year.
