Interviewing with Esperion with cardiology background

There’s never a perfect scenario, but I do think this is one worth moving forward with. The amount of equity options, coupled with the significantly improved outlook for the company seems like a risk worth taking, even if the base is a little bit low. The recruiter says you’ll make it up in bonus , of course what else are they going to say. I’ve been pretty impressed with the people I’ve spoken with and overall it seems like a good opportunity to move forward with.

It’s funny what I’ve seen is so opposite, the folks on board now really do have a jaundice eye towards the original founders, and the future really is bright with current management on board. Executive leadership has done an excellent job of restructuring, the financial underpinnings of the company, and sales management is fixed focused with the eye on the prize. All the incentives are in place to drive stellar performance in ‘25, it’s going to be an interesting year.
I must have missed the job description for " Creative Marketing Writer ".
You obviously were hired.

Does anyone have any insights for the “hot button” critical issues/answers for upcoming interview. Any insights are appreciated.
This may be manager specific, but I do know in my area and from what I’ve heard from other folks the big push is towards personal accountability and territory ownership, with a significant focus on business planning and execution. Results matter. The company wants to see their investment in AI pay off quickly, as all companies do, so being nimble and flexible, unable to adapt to changing your plan based upon where the information and data points you to is critical.
