Intermune

All of these negative posts are from people who did not get hired. Intermune did the right thing last week in a big way and its a sign that those of us who got the job offers are going to a great culture to sell a product that will amke a difference to patients. There is no true job "security" anywhere anymore so this is a risk but the risk was mitigated by Intermune.

Rent-A-Rep is what they're doing but paying very well for it.
 












InVentiv was only the recruiter for this process and they coordinated (poorly) the logistics for the F2F interviews. Everyone that has been hired are InterMune employees....no rent-a-rep. I almost didn't even apply because I thought we would be working for InVentiv, but it wasn't the case.

Rent-a-Rep means employed till purchased by a big pharma company. InterMune is basically "renting" sales reps so they actually have a sales force when they're purchased. Once the purchase is done it's anyone's guess what happens.
 






Move on!! Everyone being negative is simply trying to make themselves feel better about not getting/ not taking the job. You made a mistake... We will make lots of $$$!! Sucks to be you!

Fortunately for me and unfortunately for you is I already make a lot of money which is why I don't need to take this crazy risk. You come from an environment where this is not the case so you need to take the risk to get to my current level. I haved money and stability. Good luck you idiots you are going to need it.
 






Do you think the people going to Intermune are brand new reps, desperate for a position??.... The answer is no! We all have successful specialty careers and make great money.... That's why they want us Einstein! Those chosen were the top candidates from the 10,000 resumes ITMN received. There are reps in PAH who are running from their company because of their product (Bayer / UT), their manager (Actelion) or their poor performance. To say that you are top candidates is somewhat misleading. If you are so good, why aren't you performing well in your current role.
 






Take a look at the ranking report for Bayer and then adjust your statement. Most of those who are going to ITMN are in the top 10-15% of the sales force and who have options for other employment opportunities

LOL you IDIOT. They say that in EVERY SINGLE mass hiring EVERY SINGLE company has. Let me guess they told you that you were "special" at some point in the interview process since you were chosen out of millions upon millions of resumes right? LOL LOL. I have heard that and said that at every hiring event where I was interviewed and where I was the interviewer. Oh good god what a fool you are!! Best post ever! Look yourself in the mirror. Be honest. No one leaves Actelion, UT, Gilead, or Bayer if all is well. It's just too big a risk.
 
























Bayer lost 16 out of 60, wow. I hear there may be 1 or 2 more in the next 3 days. Keryx has contingent offers to out to a couple of more Bayer peeps.

Bayer doesn't get it. Regardless of how generous the IC plan is, they lose over 25% of their sales force which may rise to 30 in the next few weeks.
