Ikaria?

They don't pay nearly enough. The company is BIG PHARMA. The dude wants me to give him a report every week to let him know where I will be working the following week. Crazy MICRO manager. What's he going to do, pop in on a hospital unexpectedly that I told him I would be at? I was about to ask him if I was in the wrong interview. I will not be baby sat.

Please tell me that the manager is not TF.

did you not look at who the company's senior leadership is? All of the DMs/RDs will be micromanaging. CEO and VP of Comm ops are both ex GSK and are the epitomy of micro managment. don't know Ross well, but Tasse is an awful leader. The Dms will e forced to give weekly reports and that will flow down to the field.

I have a phone interview coming up. For anyone that's had one with Ikaria, were there any questions that caught you off guard or is it the standard bullshit of 'tell me about a time...blah blah blah"

I'm definitely going to be asking about the management style, reporting requirements, etc because I refused to have a micro manager.

STAY AWAY!!
This company is full of shit. I got to them through a recruiter and even though I'm employed and have been with the same pharm co for the last 7 years, I went forward with it to test the field.
I told the recruiter what my salary requirement was in order for me to make a move and said that number was firm. He said, "they are aware of that number and realize it's non-negotiable. They are very interested in bringing you on board."
Well, I finally got my offer and it was $25K LESS than what I told them was my requirement! What a scam! Of course, every company will talk about 'potential' and 'bonus' numbers but until they 'guarantee' the bonus, I don't buy it.
Of course, I declined the offer and told them what I thought of their tactics. The recruiter was pissed but I told him it was his fault in the first place knowing they would try to lowball me and get me on the cheap.
Moral of the story: unless you desperately need a job, don't talk to this company. If you have a job, stay with it because other small biotech companies come along all the time.

I got low balled, too! What a joke! Do they actually expect me to take a pay CUT to go to work for them? Did anyone actually accept an offer? If so, where and how much?

Luccasin is a dog. It already failed phase 3 once, with horrible data results, not meeting primary or secondary endpoints, basically worse than current treatments options, which are terrible. Check the history of "terlipressin", PDL tried to get it through a few years ago, but Orphan screwed up the trials and killed its chances at approval. Just be careful with this drug.

Has anyone honestly heard anything from them after the phone IV. I have called each week for an update and the canidate care coordinator tells me I am being considered and that someone will contact me. If you have been contacted I am curious who contacted you after the phone IV?

The hiring manager called the same week and I had my first f2f interview.
