This is funny! I suggest all those complaining on being understaffed/overwhelmed think about what's going on in their department- is it truly not enough headcount or you just have people who are unable to do their work right and on time?
Both issues can true and it all comes back to poor leadership. Toxic managers prefer not to hire talented people- they are too jealous and afraid of being replaced. Hence, low quality personnel onboard and poor job done. On the other hand, if someone turns out to be a good employee they immediately start bulling him out of the company. And there you go- resignations and understaffed teams.

yep they still have not replaced my position. 7 people left. Nobody got hired. We lost our HC.

Here's your solution: stop bullying away good employees and you won't have all these issues with getting job done.
HR can help you hire employees but they can't help against bullying and scheming going on non-stop in your department, forcing people to leave.

Finance didn't stop hiring even during pandemic. Yet, they keep saying they are understaffed compared to other departments. Such a bunch of clowns.
 






Here's your solution: stop bullying away good employees and you won't have all these issues with getting job done.
HR can help you hire employees but they can't help against bullying and scheming going on non-stop in your department, forcing people to leave.
Nasty, unprofessional "leaders". Some things will never change. Bullying was all they knew. They also knew they could get away with it. All fun and games til someone files a law suit.
 






I worked in small company with very good environment and I worked in two big corporations with great culture as well. Don't think size matters. It's people who create overall atmosphere at workplace. And there's no place as bad as Taro. Insecure, nasty, jealous managers bully out talented employees and replace them with entry-level dummies. So, if you are good employee, leave asap!
