If your happy and you know it...

You need to have realistic expectations from HR.
I worked for 3 different companies. NEVER saw HR helping or defending interests of employees in their conflicts with management.
They are trained only to do the paperwork for new hires /resignations, organize mandatory trainings and other nice n'easy tasks. If you come to them with complaint on your supervisor, it's like spitting against the wind. They could only help you prove that it was all your fault and you need to think of how to improve yourself. And they'd also report the whole conversation to your manager to ensure retaliation.
Why would Taro HR be different?
That's a shame. You've never worked in normal conditions.

My favorite thing is requirement for employees to check temperature before coming in as a proof that they don't have COVID.
Do they even realize that people may be asymptomatic and still carry this virus ?!
Close the office!

Yes they follow CDC (Clearly Don’t Care) guidelines. Someone dies, it’s blood on their hands. Lots of older individuals, not the best to be in an office.

For some in finance that'll mean a full day off. They don't do anything except attending meetings (where they bring no value in either)
We're in the middle of a pandemic. People are still getting sick, and we're headed to flu season. We're in the middle of a psychotic election season and we all need bigger raises. Some if us have kids in school, and husbands and wives who are essential workers. You'd think the bullying at Taro would at least be on hold. Grow up and get a grip folks. Seriously, stop behaving like a bunch of middle schoolers. You've got adult issues to consider.

They still haven't figured out that non-management employees shouldn't be in meetings for more than an hour or two per week?

And then the bullies complain when your productivity goes down.
