Don't blame JF for something he might had never done. The guy was indeed a bit crazy but he knew the boundaries. And he had done a lot for the company. He wouldn't be writing racist and offensive posts on cafepharma like the one about sitting in the room with Indian contractors.
Look for racists among current employees especially those who work with IT a lot.

I liked her. Her direct report was also so nice, smart kid. I enjoyed my interactions with him. He quit too after she left for the same reasons. It’s a shame because he was so willing to pass on knowledge and help. I suggest everyone who hates it here do the same and quietly leave. No point in going to HR. Who cares if JF or EH or MK or any of these ex employees come back? Let them have this dumpster fire.

The behavior trickled down the ladder. It's also what created The Frat Leaders antics and Babytalks "think I'll make this person leave because I don't like them" attitude. The bully club consisted of BC, K, Frat Leader and Babytalk. The woman on 3rd had same flow as MK. As new employees were hired, they either joined in the BS or left. To quietly leave is exactly what good employees should do. There have been many complaints and many exit interviews which listed names and instances. I doubt that the issues were acted upon.

EH worked hard, but was an enabler. He knew what was going in but played along. JF an MK were walking lawsuits waiting to happen.

Hey HR, Isn't that what folks had been trying to do? What did you do about formal complaints and exit interviews? What you see posted on CP are problems brought to you for quite a long time and ignored. Unresolved issues that could've been avoided had you done something about the obviously growing toxic culture.

May not like MB or PC but can't blame them for what's going on. Want proof? Review ALL exit interviews, before MB and PC were hired, during and after. There were employees who resigned not wanting to. There were employees who left because of the nonsense. The nonsense is still going on, and not just in finance. Exit interviews SPEAK TRUTH. When someone resigns, they no longer fear retaliation. I'm sure theres too much to review, Turnover too high but if you want to change environment start at the beginning.

MK did some freaky things but you could still work in that environment, achieve results and get rewarded sometimes. BCs, Frat Leaders and Babytalks kept their dirty mouth shut under MK.
All hell broke loose when MB came on board. Sh!t quickly spread all around Finance making it impossible for normal employees to stay and do their job. Unpredictable schedules, nonsense tasks, crazy deadlines, change of priorities every hour, racism, public harassments, zero appreciation, no payment for overtime.
I don't know if department will ever recover from that. All talents are gone, old bullies are still running the show.
