Idorsia contract

I have had 3 virtual interviews with the hiring manger and the last required a powerpoint presentation and business plan. I received a email and phone call from recruiter notifying me to take a one way video interview before end of week with link sent to my email, they scheduled my interview in Phil with 2 managers and posibly passed on to RSD later in the day. For a contract job I have never seen hoops like this to jump through.

no video interview stop the nonsense what are you talking about? They cant ask some candidates to do so and some not

Really disappointing that they tried to lure specialty reps in to Idorsia contract only to find really just PCP calls.
They better get it straight as to who
They want to focus on.

So if there are no samples, how do your “prove” your productivity? Do you still get signatures on calls even with no sample drop? I’ve never promoted a non sampled product, so this is totally new to me!

No samples is one of the reasons I didn't want the job at first. Productivity can still be shown in other ways. The main issue is that it's harder to see providers without samples. The front desk just says you can't get in back. You have to be creative and find ways to see them. I think a launch would be especially tough without samples, though. Sometimes companies offer vouchers, but most don't require signatures. Hopefully Idorsia will.

This is a bizarre question. You prove your productivity by meeting or exceeding your sales goal. We aren't UPS delivery people.

Typically those that "pass" the final interview go to the director for a "sign off-check the box" on you however recruiters are telling candidates that the second interview IS an interview not just a sign-off .

All these interviews for a crappyPrimary Care contract that will probably severely be cut in a year.
You can get the “best” Reps but if the market already has many generics, not a first in class but a third it really doesn’t matter as formularies will dictate your success. Maybe there is something about this sleeper that differentiates from others. Best of luck’

Sorry, but in all of my prior roles, I was basically a sample dropper and not much else. You can paint it any color you want with a fancy lunch or clinical
Trial data sprinkled in to Razzle dazzle a
Doc or your manager.

Common sense here. Why would these managers ask the Top Candidate to interview at 9:00 and wait around all day to have a 5:00 confirmation interview at the end of the day with the Regional? Top Candidates are always asked to interview late in the day, most likely the last interview of the day so that those candidates that they really want can go directly to the confirmation interview with the Regional immediately following their 3:00 or 4:00 interview. I’ve been to two interviews with Syneos just like this. The “back up spot filller” candidates are first in the morning then told to go home and will be contacted within a week. Then the top candidates which interview at 3:00 or 4:00 meet immediately following their first interview with the Regional and are given a verbal offer right then same day. If for some reason the top candidate doesn’t accept or don’t pass background and drug screen or decide to back out on the offer, then the second place candidate will get a call about a week later with an offer.

IMO
I think thinking too much in time
I went in an afternoon slot once and didn’t get offer
Once in AM and did get offer
I really think time doesn’t matter
Plus they are only sending 2 candidates per territory, so the time should not be an issue
