Idorsia contract

Common sense here. Why would these managers ask the Top Candidate to interview at 9:00 and wait around all day to have a 5:00 confirmation interview at the end of the day with the Regional? Top Candidates are always asked to interview late in the day, most likely the last interview of the day so that those candidates that they really want can go directly to the confirmation interview with the Regional immediately following their 3:00 or 4:00 interview. I’ve been to two interviews with Syneos just like this. The “back up spot filller” candidates are first in the morning then told to go home and will be contacted within a week. Then the top candidates which interview at 3:00 or 4:00 meet immediately following their first interview with the Regional and are given a verbal offer right then same day. If for some reason the top candidate doesn’t accept or don’t pass background and drug screen or decide to back out on the offer, then the second place candidate will get a call about a week later with an offer.

Couldnt be more wrong. Time of day means nothing. There isnt 8-10 candidates for each territory but that amount all day that the same managers have to interview get it? So 8-10 interviews in a day is for 4-5 territories so the time is irrelevant. Good luck!

Top 2 candidates are equal - doesn’t matter the order or time of day. Everyone is required to sit around all day until they text people individually to let them know they’ve not been selected, or to have final interview with Sales Director. These “cattle calls” are how Syneos hires large sales forces - they’d rather have everyone centrally located in one place. Been to several of these over the years - sometimes got the job and sometimes not…

Sorry, but in all of my prior roles, I was basically a sample dropper and not much else. You can paint it any color you want with a fancy lunch or clinical
Trial data sprinkled in to Razzle dazzle a
Doc or your manager.
True. Esp in Primary care. And if they do plan to call on Psych, as they said in interviews, Psych notoriously treats with samples for various reasons including legal - just ask Merck. So whoever is providing the samples - the doctor might see you but will he write? After reviewing the data on this one...its splitting hairs. tough sell good luck

If they are only offering 80-90, they'll lose alot of great candidates. Geez, pharma is supposed to pay much better....more like 90-100 for even this role.
Negotiate, people!

Especially if you have years of solid pharma experience!!

So much BS. Here is what i experienced...
Recruiter called set up lunch. Met DM for lunch locally. Told at lunch I'm going to Atlanta.
No video. 6 questions. 4 answers. They used this to interview you with. To see your mind set.
In interview was told I would meet VP and Corporate Trainer. Checked the box.
On site was made verbal offer prior to return home.
Called 24 hours later. Accepted.
Pay commensurate with limited experience 80-85k. Outstanding experience stops at about 85-88k.
1st year 100-115k at plan depending on base. 4 year contract.
Neuro/Psych/PCP call plan of 120 docs. Routing to include the top 20-40% of that calldeck.
Company car. 27k bonus at plan. 9k trimester.

There are your facts. I accepted.

Hummm.. I hope they have done some market research.. That is why they are hiring us.. Need the hunter mindset.. Perhaps, vouchers will be given.. So many Pharm companies are not providing any samples.. Eye of the tiger, I am going to Philly to close the deal.. I say with covid, so many folks are not able to sleep.. It is a huge market 10% suffer from insomnia. I also understand the patent life for Daridorexant is 14 yrs.. 16 million folks are treated for insomnia in the US .. Also, Idorsia has a strong balance sheet entering in 2021.. Say strong everyone..
