Question
What’s up with video assignment before interview? What kind of questions
Still sounds like great opportunity
My understanding is the top choices are asked to do a video and the people that are considered back ups are just going in coldI made it to Dallas but was not told about any type of video needed before. What's this about?

Who told you this? What a slap in the face. How would someone even find this out?
Was told ideally 2 candidates per opening make a trip to Philly or Dallas. So you interview and one comes home with an offer, the other empty handed.
Never heard of a hire-o-rama "process" like this. Guessing it's just a Syneos thing.
Most if not all, pharma companies are :
Recruiter Phone screen> local face to face with one mgr>local face to face with maybe 2 managers>regional mgr...and you're done. Or even less.
Almost seems cruel to send candidates on a one day out and back trip, traveling with your competition. And the $ involved.
Oh well, Syneos does it their way. Is this the "syneos" way?, for those that have experienced this? Just seems odd.
Do you really have to do a video interview? I got a notice for Philly in Dec. There were a couple of attachments. About benefits, Job Description, how to get reimbursement interview trip expenses etc but I didn’t see a video interview link. ??

I have had 3 virtual interviews with the hiring manger and the last required a powerpoint presentation and business plan. I received a email and phone call from recruiter notifying me to take a one way video interview before end of week with link sent to my email, they scheduled my interview in Phil with 2 managers and posibly passed on to RSD later in the day. For a contract job I have never seen hoops like this to jump through.
