A downsized ship is better than IW who has lost 10% of their value in the past 24hrs and Synergy gained 20% in the same time. Good luck competing w Takeda and then Synergy. $5 billion in annual sales isn't going anywhere- the only thing leaving is the excess fat. Have fun.

IW makes money if Synergy launches. Theres an agreement for IW not to sue and Synergy splits profits. I bet you're one of the 4 RD's getting the axe. Maybe you can apply with Synergy, but looking at the RD's left at Shire only 3 would get the job.

Oh really? A company attempting to bring their first product to market has agreed with their competitor to split profits? Just like Forrest can't and won't buy IW. Sounds like doctors going to work for the hospital - it's great until their first contract expires.... Good luck bro's

So IW dropping nearly 30% in the past 24hrs and synergy nearly gaining 30% in the past 24hrs is good for IW? Synergy Announced they'll publish new data in january and IW Falls 30%? but somehow thats good for IW? That's like 'project guardian is just to find things out- no one will be implicated.

Hey Jim Cramer, have you checked out Shire's stock price lately, how's that $20 off the 52 week high look? So you have $5 billion in annual sales, but the stock is off 20% of it's yearly high, but IRWD is down 10% and hasn't recorded a single rx yet. I'll put my $ where the CEO of a company does, love to see how much of his own money Angus invested in Shire.
 






explain again how IW got Synergy to agree to share in profits with their closest competitor? First I've heard of 2 pharm companies agreeing in the same class as future competitors to just 'share' in the wealth.
 






























You're a genius, Shire reps have two prescription products, Lialda and Intuitiv, the rest of their business comes from specialty sales you won't get hired into. IW already filed a INDA and is sitting on a potential $2 billion product that will be available in a month. Let's see the data from full trial of plecanatide, every drug looks like a superstar when it is studied in 15 patients during Phase II trials. Good luck looking for a life vest too bad they're all gone already.

Woh genius, I thought IW was sharing in the wealth with Synergy in some future competitor profit sharing, remember? So don't you want their studies in 15 patients to do well?

The wealth that IW will share with Synergy is peanuts compared to overall potential for market, why would IW want Synergy to cut into the bigger piece of the pie?

Both their drugs KILL mice. I'd rather be selling Amitiza, the safe choice for IBS.
