GI execs scared

This argument in meaningless!

The bottom line is that if you leave and join Ironwood and perform well, you will have nothing to worry about.

If you do no perform, them there will be problems. However, if you don't perform in any profession then the clock will be ticking.

If you are acutally going to leave, go for it. This is a great opportunity to get launch experience and a great bonus potential. Even more than that, you will feel purpose because it's new.

If you stay; put your head down and keep going. It's pretty simple.

I don't get it. Shire is a true specialty rep job. Why would those reps want to go to ironwood and call on primary care and work with forest pods?

Um, 15% raise in base salary, tons of stock grants, no more Carly and Eliot, dancing chihuahas, meetings in remote locations, MBO comp plans, RDs failing people for role plays at meetings....

But you will be a glorified primary care rep. No GI exclusivity, you will share them with multiple Forest pods. Also, there will be high decile primary care docs in the mix...again with the forest pods. Just seems like a step down.

And you'll still be selling ass aspirin with a "GI Specialty" rep biz card. Who cares if we're glorified PC reps, you'll still be attending POA meetings in bumblephuck USA watching dancing toy dog videos while taking certification tests all day to earn your capped bonus checks.

Obviously an idiot manger who is questioning "Why reps would want to go to IW". I would rather call on "some" high decile PC and work with forest pods than "check the box" MBO's. Good Luck with Shire's "True specialty" job making less money and speadsheets to track rep triggered mail etc.

Or better yet the fantastic webex programs we spent millions on. Doctors are jumping at the chance to to sit down for 30 mins in a lunched watch a slide presentation on Mesalamine! It's so complicated. Not to mention its been out for 6 years. Too little too late
