Ford, Heath, Cole Read this!

I believe all reps are falling by the wayside. Not just this excuse for a company, but for all companies. This industry has sunk! Join the folks you service and draw government wages while eating government cheese and drinking the same ole kool aid everyone else is serving.

WraSer better hurry up and start interviewing the recent high school graduates in the area so the naïve youngsters of the world can sell their crap products. Otherwise they will shortly have no more reps considering about 95% of the people left with this company are looking for another job! The other 5%, well you can probably guess who they are.

since you have left and have such a better life now somewhere else - answer me this, how do you have so much time to post here with all the hard work and buckets of money you are making?

Who said "left"? I could be one of the MANY people looking for a job while STILL working for Wraser. What's the point of busting ass to sell the products if i'm not going to make any money anyway? Shit, based on recent events, it's not going to matter if I hit my numbers or not. If WraSer wants to fire me they will make something up and go with it!

Wraser fires people that do good? Wow I guess I should turn down my interview?

I'll put it to you this way...there are reps here that are very consistent and are top performers month after month, year after year. Then the company asks you to sell a swimmers ear product in Feb. and then get pissed when it doesn't move off the shelves. You have one bad month and you are FIRED! Tell me, how many professional baseball, football, or basketball players would still have jobs if they were fired after having ONE bad game?

Sure go ahead and interview with them. But be smart and realize that while everything you read here might not be true, A LOT of it is. There are many people at this company, past and present, who regret not believing what they read here.

Read other posts too for other companies and ask yourself how much is true. There is helpful info here but read through the lines an dbe smart.

Bottom line, once again, sales people are hired guns. You are only as good as last months numbers so you damn well better be ready for war at all times.

Truth is, yes a lot of other company boards have bad things on them... but ALMOST all of the stuff on this board is true. Low base pay and each month they change the commission structure and make up your sales numbers so that they keep the money and the reps make little if anything. I can't even believe they are hiring... if the quality reps who were in the territories couldn't sell their shit products, how do they expect anyone else to? They had to lay off people because the company is not making any money, and now they are turning around and hiring new people?!?

It is not due to the reps for the lack of sales, it is due to the shitty products with no coverage.

What posters are saying on these threads is pure truth. By the way I was a top performer, never even placed on this so called performance improvement plan and I was let go. Needless to say I was speechless when I got the call from my manager.

Put simply: the pay is very low 25k, even though there are some reps out there making 32-35k base depending where they live. Commission are monthly, but the commission plans change about every month or two so you can never count on them. The work required is 12 sig calls a day and 4-5 pharmacy calls a day as well. Then you come home and have to enter your calls onto the BOSS, but can't enter them until after 5pm. That takes about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours if your typing notes. It takes alot of personal time in the evenings that you could spend with your family. Not to mention there is not an individual that is assigned to handling formularies in the company. So therefore the coverages have always been crappy. No one there will help you get the products covered either, I tried to get help to no avail. There is no support from home office either. Try calling down there with a question and see how long it takes them to respond.

End point: worst mistake of my life. I wish I had never heard of Wraser. I was totally misled on everything here. Sure I met some nice people along the way, but I am much better off by not working here. I know some people that got smart and after they figured out what was going on they left within about 2 months of taking the job. For some reason I kept giving the company the benefit of doubt and tried to stick it out. I am still not sure why I did that though. I should have went with my instinct and left the 1st time the commission plan was changed basically right after I was hired.

Those "policies" are not strictly inforced and calls only take about 20 minutes to enter and u dont have to wait until 5. I am usually done with my day and calls entered by 5.
Salary does suck though. Sounds like u were in primary. Thats a shitty world no matter what company u work for.

At least with other companies you get some support from the company... while I was with Wraser we launched approx 10 different products, this included BEGGING pharmacies to bring it in, then BEGGING them to "run dummy scripts" to see what the coverage was for the product. How does a company not provide that information to reps? When a doctor would ask me what the coverage was and ask for a coverage sheet, it was up to me to make one and find out that information. I should have been spending my time talking to doctors about my products not harassing busy pharmacists to see what the coverage was. I made a huge mistake accepting a job from this company and I am willing to bet that at least 95% of the past AND present employees feel the same way!

Please grow up. It's called sales. Do what u have to to SELL. Ur attitude is exactly why so few consider pharma to be sales.

And before u start crying about " me too" sales, Lipitor has been the #1 branded drug for years with '09 sales of over $5 Billion. And Lipitor is also a " me too" with many similar products competing directly with it

You are way out of the ballpark on this one. Lipitor has been around for years and for many doctors is considered to be their first line therapy for patients. Here you have a product that just about every Dr around is very familiar with, has used in the prescribing habits for years and they have good results and it has great insurance coverage. Why wouldn't it have that much in sales??? Well known product, low cost to patients with great efficacy, how can you seriously put any of Wraser's products in the same category? Oh I am sorry you are trying to prove a point huh Cole?

In order to be a successful sales person you must have the support tools and training to do your job. If you don't have both of these you will not be successful and Wraser doesn't provide either of these. Making up formulary sheets on your own and praying you know the coverages and then training.............let's not even go there. It's horrible and not even close to what real pharma training is.

I was in primary and I was vehemently told not to enter in any calls into the BOSS until 5pm because you are expected to be in the field until 5. If they want to they can and will check the time you enter those calls. I do know that Cole watches the calls as they come in.

It was new at some point. And there was a "need" for it and a big fat market just waiting to throw money at it. I've made my point. A little extreme but still. And I don't live on the river
